Very cool idea that makes small bathrooms look more open
I bought this because I just redid my shower and it looks so good, I don't want it hidden behind a curtain. The action of the pulley is smooth when rolling up or down, but the 3M tape isn't great. The curtain is about an inch shorter than the housing so you'll have a little bit of a gap between the wall and curtain - you can install a little farther to one side if you prefer more coverage on the faucet side. The bottom piece really does keep the water in the tub - I added a small magnet to each side on the bottom to keep the curtain in place when showering because it blows into the shower at times, maybe when the HVAC is on. I really like that the clear curtain keeps the inside of the shower really bright and the fact that it extends all the way to the ceiling keeps the heat in.The instructions are lacking for someone who doesn't have a lot of experience with home improvement projects. It would be nice to have a paper guide to use when marking locations for the brackets. Some reviews said they couldn't get all three brackets to engage, but I was able to without much issue. I had an additional issue in that an HVAC vent was right in the middle of where the curtain had to go, so I added 1x3s to drop it down low enough to clear the vent - I'll add a valance to hide the wood. I also made a point to attach the brackets to studs where possible (only two in my case) and used a couple bigger toggle bolts to attach the 1x3 to the ceiling. My set up seems solid, but again, someone without much experience making things work, should expect to take some extra time to plan out how they're going to attach - maybe get a long enough piece of cardboard and cut a guide out of it so you know exactly where the brackets need to go to line up properly.Overall, I think this is a really cool idea to keep a small bathroom open. I hope it lasts and doesn't mold (might try spraying RainX Plastic on it so the water beads up and rolls down it).

Great window covering, too!
I have an unusual application. I love my window in my bathroom, but after showering, I have to squeegee the window dry every time to prevent spotting. So I am using the Jakooz roll up curtain against the outside wall to keep the window dry during showering. For this application, I wanted to reverse the roll in the unit so that the smooth side would still face into the shower area while the face of the unit is still toward the room. Easy to do by removing the roll, flipping it end to end, and reinstalling it in the unit. I left a small gap behind the unit for easy operation of the spring-loaded mounting brackets. Now I simply let the curtain dry and roll it up out of sight when not in use. Perfect solution!

A novel alternative to a shower curtain
This covers the bathtub from ceiling to floor and looks nice. There is a window behind the tub and the shade lets in a lot of light.Like many shades that use a clip on a rail, it is difficult to get all the clips to latch, so be prepared to struggle with the initial installation. Unlike a shower curtain that can be thrown in the wash, this shade device will need to be cleaned in place, and it remains to be seen how long it will continue looking good. Replacement will cost more than a shower curtain, so 4 stars instead of 5. I hope it works out because it looks better than a shower curtain on a rod.

Answer to my prayers.
When I said no shower curtains please, I meant it. This is exactly what I needed. Perfect size, easy to install and use once you get used to the cords. That is which one to pull for up and down. My suggestion, we'll more like My husbands suggestion is to make them color coded. Nothing too different just a simple color. Other than it's perfect. If you adjust it right you will have no problem with water coming out on the floor. It's very stylish and easy to use. It dries quickly and the design is so elegant. I am very pleased with this and highly recommend to anyone wanting to get rid of the shower curtains. Affordable.

Great solution for walk in tub
This is a well made well designed product. It works perfectly to allow us to shower in our walk in tub without spraying water all around the room. When it’s rolled up it clean and neat barely noticeable. Great material selection, it seems durable and easy to clean. I am not a fan of regular shower curtains with their rings and folds. This is an elegant solution. Easy install.
