The Dragon's Blade Trilogy: A Complete Epic Fantasy Series

I couldn't put this series down. The character development was excellent and put the reader right there in the midst of the story, travels and action. Kudos!!

I really liked the story line and all the political intrigue. I'd really like to have known more about Blain and Kessel . I find it almost unforgivable that you killed off Cosmo, but Ill get over it. Lastly....... You need a map

Really liked the characters and the storyline. I may seem like a rather vengeful person but i don’t see how the killing of a tyrant—one who is a threat to any race and any who threatens his power— would not be preferable by most people and the safest route for everyone.I will confess to having a couple of conflicting issues in details. One of those was the idea of the swords of power going to those Chosen by the Gods, deserving of the power for their characters of goodness and knowing right from wrong, plus their desire to protect and save lives. Yet, this notion is conflicting as more details are finally revealed. One other thing that I dislike in storylines is an obvious occurrence that makes no sense and is frustratingly obvious that it helps the storyline to work where the author wants it to go. This particular example involves Dukoona in book 3, more toward the end. Other than that I really enjoyed this.

The story lagged at times but I am so glad I stayed with it. They were fun books. I just loved how he ended the story. He took the time to tell of each groups ending! I liked these books very much!!!!H

For three novels, the story was well written. I fairly enjoyed the first two books and then the third moved fast. Even though the first few chapters spanned many years in relation to the entire story, the last chapters felt like parts were missing. I enjoyed reading the entire series and so very glad they were in one complete “book” and not waiting for the next installment. Even though it is fiction, in my mind I can see many similarities between real world events, past and present.Beware one person wanting to be all powerful.

After reading books 1-3 of "Songs of Chaos" which are absolutely phenomenal, I thought I'd try more books by the same author. I did read the entire trilogy but just didn't enjoy it all that much. The characters are difficult to like and the plot is very slow. I wanted to see how it would end so pushed through. Though really, the conclusion didn't finally pick up action until very late in the final book and it wasn't worth the wait.This was an earlier work of the author and I can see his evolution. A lot of people like this, I just didn't find the character arc's to be enjoyable.

This story was different for me . I didn't think I would enjoy a story of dragons who were not in dragon form, but I really loved it. It drew me in and the character s were so well developed and the world building was fantastic. The ending was a surprise but not disappointing. I highly recommend it. Battles, intrigue and romance all Here but nothing to explicit .

I couldn't put these books down! The characters were vivid, well written, and were a joy to get to know. Yes, even the bad guys. There was enough action and drama to keep me interested, but not so much to overtake the storyline. The ending was well thought out, not rushed in the least. I'm looking forward to reading more by this author.

So sad to come to the end of this trilogy. The books kept me enthralled all the way through. Books of this calibre are hard to find.

Loved the trilogy, and especially the journeys each of the characters take. I found the demon and shadow world side of story super interesting, different from what other fantasy books generally offer. When I got to the ending of it all I had missed quite a few hours of sleep....

This trilogy was such a great read. Characters came alive and the author ensured you felt you were there. Sorry to have it ended. The ending was perfect.

For those who love Fantasy then this is the book for you! Fantastic characters who are believable, they aren’t perfect, they all have their own flaws and struggles, some overcome their flaws, and others don’t, just like in true life. The plot is fast paced, no boring spots, it keeps you enthralled and wanting to keep reading to find out what is going to happen next!I would highly recommend these books to anyone who loves Fantasy books!

The stories are beautifully drawn out and vividly descriptive. A true joy that captivated my senses. Finally someone that understands dialogue and uses it with bullet accuracy without waste. If there is a but, it ended far to quickly and left me wanting so much more.
