3M VHB Tape RP32 2" x 5 yards Gray

I used this to fasten large solar panels the roof of my motorhome, I think the roof would come off before the panels did.

When properly applied to prepped surfaces, this really holds well and keeps holding down to -25 degrees Fahrenheit and over 120 degrees in summer. I use it to secure all manner of items between plastics, metals, glass, etc.I always clean both surfaces well with 91% Rubbing Alcohol and apply firmly per instructions and wait 24-72 hours before putting to use.I can remove it by rubbing it hard with my fingers and slowly getting it to roll up onto itself. Some heat aids in removal in this manner. Leaves no residue when removed.

This tape probably holds the fabric of our universe together. If the police used this instead of tack strips to stop fleeing felons it would drastically increase their effectiveness. This stuff only understands hold, none of this let go crap. I attached some solar panels to a teardrop camper I built and it's never coming off. Those panels better last forever because I can never replace them. If we have a nuclear war, the only thing left will be charred remains and this perfectly unscathed tape.

Very nice product, but be careful if you need something thicker for say an automobile emblem. I had to double it up for it to work. Otherwise, very nice. Watch the thickness.

We used this to stick down our flexible solar panels on the roof. At first we stuck it on the roof and it peeled right off and thought well this will never work. But you MUST press hard and roll it down or with your fingers to activate the stick. Then good luck getting it off! They are stuck good. To remove it I hear trying a piano type wire to "cut" the adhesive in half. Good stuck if you want something to STICK!

WOW! I got my first roll a while ago. I have been using it for so many things. I am ordering another roll.First - I mounted my solar panels on the roof of my RV. I was a bit hesitant but they prove to be holding fast.Second - One of the included images is of a breather pad for under the RV matress. It had to be installed in two pieces and they would separate and drift in different directions. I used it to attach the halves so if they do move, at least they will move together.

If you need something bonded together that you don't ever want to come apart, this is your adhesive. YOU MUST THOROUGHLY CLEAN BOTH SURFACES WITH ALCOHOL BEFORE USING. The surfaces should match well and be clean and dry . . . . and be very careful getting it exactly where you want it on the first try, because it will be difficult to get it apart if you need a second attempt . . . . but it is possible.
