I like the bumpy underside of this blanket, it has a nice feel and doesn't irritate through clothes. Smooth underside version is probably just as nice.Bought as a gift but I did try it myself, and it gets warm but not too warm. Soft, and the heating elements don't stick out much.It's doesn't heat up very fast but it's good enough because the blanket by itself is already cosy.It's also pretty big, so I expect it fits most beds. Definitely recommend, gift well received.

Wish I'd bought one of these years ago. Lovely blanket. Bought the black fur version. Warms up really well and quickly. I'm always freezing and usually have everything turned up to the maximum but this was fine on the middle setting. Plenty warm enough. Quite thick & substantial and you can detach the wire to just use it as a normal blanket, as it's really warm anyway. I bought it for using at my computer when working from home, so I don't have to heat the whole house. Due to its weight, it does slip down a bit when sat at an office chair, but you can position it so you can wedge in place. Perfect for snuggling up on the couch. Never thought I'd be one of those people that waxes lyrical about a blanket, but it's been a brilliant buy. Only just received so can't comment on longevity/durability yet. If there are any issues, I will update accordingly.

It's a good blanket on its own and does keep the heat in. Just feels rather thin and not very snuggly. Heated it is lovely and does help the snuggly feel. Only really use it on max as use it when it's usually too cold bother with any other setting than max.

I took delivery of this Navaris Electric Blanket on 25 October (£51.99).Although the heat did not distribute evenly throughout the entire blanket because, for safety reasons, the internal wiring cannot be placed too closely together, it was no big deal as it was still nice and cosy. Mind you, the blanket is not really designed for sharing on a sofa. On a cold evening, it's enough for one person only.My only real concern, at the time, was when I read the attached label which stated that the blanket can only be machine washed 'five' times in its lifetime (there was no mention of this in the description details on the retailer’s online page).I used it from late October ’22 to April ’23. Before putting it away for the summer, I machine washed it once and I was happy to see that it dried easily and retained its fluffiness afterwards.Two days ago, 14 September ’23, I took it out of storage as, in Scotland, there was a definite chill in the air. To my great disappointment, it appears that the blanket has lost its strength, so to speak, after that one and only wash. At best, it is now simply warm in patches and no more. Sometimes, I cannot tell if the warmth I sense is coming via the wiring or my own body heat.While I shall continue to use it as a cosy sofa throw, I feel that paying £52 (considerably more one year later) for one season’s use is a little too much.Please, just be aware of the possible side effects after simply one machine wash. You may be lucky and it will last five or more times longer than mine.

We had a particularly Baltic spell recently and my legs were getting cold, so I invested in this blanket. As it is plush, it is lovely and soft to the touch. It warms up really quickly and retains the heat. It arrives in a useful carrier, which makes it easy to transport. I use mine for work, but it is versatile to be used anywhere it can be plugged into!

The throw heated up quickly and worked well for about 8 days but then it didn't heat up evenly. It also became very hot around the connection on the blanket so unfortunately I have had to send it back.

Cosy blanket. I use it in a chair on cold evenings. A good size and good quality.
