Hanes Mens Sport Performance Quarter-Zip Pullover

I usually associate Hanes with undershirts or underwear, but I was pleasantly surprised that they made a long sleeve stretchy quarter zip shirt that competed with the likes of brand name similar shirts. I ordered two just to see what they were like, after getting disappointed with another major sports brand quarter zip shirt, and I have to say, these aren't as soft as I would like, but otherwise, the quality of these is pretty much what I wanted and expected. They don't come in fancy patterns and colors, but that's okay with me! I'm so happy with the durability, fit and stretchiness of the fabric, zipper and collar, that I can forego the fancy patterns and colors. I ended up buying two more for a total of four solid black ones. The reflective stripe on the back I think is probably not necessary, but could prove useful if you're out and about in the dark at night on the road or something, with nothing else being worn over the shirt. I am quite satisfied with this find on Amazon. Thank you.

Fits just right. Super comfortable & lightweight. Very stylish. Bought a more expensive top name brand that did not fit and was not as comfortable or as stylish, so returned it and replaced with this shirt. Excellent value. Will buy more.

Nice product for the price. 6' 175lbs and M fits perfectly. Slightly hugs pecs and rib cage in the upper. Does hug below rib cage but slightly baggy. You can see the transition if your waist and belly is smaller than your ribcage. Not skin tight all over like a compression shirt. Reflective stripe on the back is a plus. Minus for the zipper being plain grey cloth rather than reflective grey. Texture is soft and smooth, but not slick and smooth like some polyester tops. I'm expecting it will attract pet hair and need a lint brush even after washing and drying. Layered with a Tesla compression shirt (also on Amazon) it's a good around the neighborhood shirt on a 40-50 degree day depending on your tolerance. As another reviewer mentioned it's almost business casual. You could get away with this at the office on jeans day with some nice black leather shoes. It might look ok if paired up with a blazer or sport coat if you can get past the grey zipper. Overall it's a good value, but I think I like the ones from Costco for around $21. Just a preference for the texture.

I got this for my husband for a hiking trip where lows were in the 30's, he used it as an additional layer with his coat, underlayer (from skiing) and hiking shirt. He loves the fact that there are no logos on the shirt. There is a reflective strip across the shoulder blades in the back for people who jog in the dark, he didn't mind that too much, it doesn't affect the fit or comfort at all so I think he forgot about it once he put the shirt on. It's very lightweight and should definitely be used as one of several layers in cold temps, would be fine on its own in milder weather. Looks nice enough that he wore it as a shirt in a fancier restaurant.

So I bought the Hanes track pants and I wanted to match so I got this. Not a bad jacket at all considering I'm around 300 pounds. It's very comfortable and lightweight. I love Hanes for going this route and hope they come out with more colors. The sleeves fit nicely and even tho I have a bloated gut it still did the job as I used this to prevent sunburn. Nicely done I got an XXL.

I bought this because of a steep price drop during a Prime event. I expected a sweatshirt in the classic sense.This is not one of those. This is thin, synthetic athletic apparel. The white strip shown on the yoke back is ultra-reflective safety tape-- a detail I seem to have missed in the item description...This isn't a layer of warmth when idle, rather a layer of breathable warmth/wicking when active.That said, it is a very comfortable and well-fitted garment that I intend to wear as a Fall/Spring jacket or as an additional under-layer during Winter.
