Mail Boss 7173 Townhouse Locking Security Wall Mount Mailbox, Cream White

It has just become common place for scumbag thieves stealing packages. As a result these people are not just taking packages but going through the mailbox as well. As a result I started having all my packages delivered to my job and added this box for my mail. The thing is built like a tank. I just do not want to even give someone the opportunity. I live in one of those neighborhoods where the mail man still walks the beat and drops the mail off at the front door. Scumbags were coming up to houses pretending to knock on the door and going through the mailbox. From the road you can see this thing screams "don't waste your time". If they really want the mail the best option is to pry it off the wall with pry bar and sledge hammer. It has a clip on the inside of the door where is says U.S. Mail to hold outgoing letters. Was on holiday for a week and this thing wasn't even close to being full. My only complaint. The white is like an off white. It did not really look like the same paint color as the amazon picture. I ended up spray painting mine more like the white color in the amazon picture.

This post box is not pure white. It’s cream or ivory, and it does clash somewhat with white siding as you can see in the pictures. Had we realized this, we would’ve ordered black to match the shutters and other trim. Otherwise, I’m very happy with the box, and the metal would be easy to spray paint white or black if we wanted. It’s heavy duty, and looks nice, classic even, on our 1928 colonial. We live intown, and it’s a relief to know mail, small packages, and magazines will fit and be secure in this box.

I kid you not, this is by far the BEST mailbox EVER. So good, I purchased for myself and one one for our tenant. Then I purchased a different model for my parents.I had searched and searched for a sturdy mailbox that wasn't made like a tin can.It comes with 2 keys and I lost one (connected to tile, go figure!) So I called the company and ordering a new key was easy. This was after I took the key to a locksmith and they told me they couldn't reproduce it. It's laser cut and hard copy or pick.What I appreciate most is the customer service and a U.S. company that is family owned. Imagine calling the 800 number and getting a human without the annoying automation that most companies have. I wish I could give 10 stars!!!

I only gave it 3 stars because it is cream not white. My house is white and it is very noticeable. Guess I'll be painting it in the spring. Easy install. Very sturdy. Key doesn't turn easily, I hope it doesn't break.

The pretty great mailbox. The Finish though is not very smooth and even on the top. I emailed the company about it, no response yet but it's only been a couple days. The mailbox seems durable oh, it was easy to install, good instructions. I think the Finish could be a bit better.

Mailbox looks good and is secured to a bracket on the wall before attaching the bottom. It has to be lock and unlocked each time it is used. There is a clip inside for out going mail, but accommodates bill sized envelopes but not greeting card shaped card without bending them.

It may cost more than the BIG LUMBER stores, but it is well worth it.The minute you take it out of the shipping container, you will be convinced this thing will last 20 years. Its thick gauge metal and VERY sturdy. Also, very few have the little red flag and have a place for mail to be sent out. Even the postman said " This mailbox is awesome ! " ( No kidding) !

The mailbox is awesome. It’s heavy duty and easy to hang. I scratched it when hanging it but other than that it is great. So be careful!!! Mailbox is excellent quality, have had it up for almost a month and is great for mail, small packages, keeping mail private, etc ... totally worth the money.

Very Solid Heavy Box, good keys. This will be as secure as the method you use to attach it to your fence.They do provide some good fasteners and a drill bit and spacers.This is not a wimpy box, it is substancial in nature. I'm Canadian, but I get that MADE IN THE USA means QUALITY!!I think that if you have a solid box for your mail;... trouble may move on to someone who has an accessible box.

Excellent mailbox. Lots of positive comments. I like that I can clip letters inside for pickup and my mail is locked and secure. Shipping and delivery was prompt. Definitely recommend
