When I first heard about weighted blankets I was very sceptical, and I looked on Amazon as my go-to place. All the blankets I saw had glowing reviews, and there were claims made about these weighted blankets helping people with autism, depression, anxiety and other mental health problems, insomnia and dementia. I had heard on TV about a lady making dolls with weighted arms and legs to hug people with dementia in care homes, and they appeared to work, so I decided to invest in one, and I'm so glad I did. From sleeping fitfully I sleep very deeply almost immediately and I feel very cradled and cosy. I suppose it's how babies were calmed when they were swaddled - same principle. I would not be without mine, and although it's a considered purchase I would highly recommend that anyone with troubled sleep or mental health problems should get one to try. There is a cover, like a duvet cover, that washes like a dream and is warm and fleecy, but not too hot in summer.

This is the best priced weighted blacket and cover combo I could find for my 12 yr old son. Dyspraxia often brings with it issues with settling at night and this blanket has made a huge difference allowing him to get settled quicker and once jes asleep he stays asleep. The blanket is robust, it totally covers a single bed. The cover is tied in in at each corner and 4 places round the sides so no slipping and zips in at the bottom so it's totally encapsulated. Its soft and snuggly and washed really well.I would recommend it to anyone.

This weighted blanket is truly a fantastic product. I bought the blanket in the hope this product would help me with insomnia & the terrible restless legs that I suffer from at night time. All I can say is WOW ! This blanket is just amazing, it is a great colour, soft, snuggly & warm. I can finally get a good nights sleep, waking up in the morning feeling very refreshed. Lovely and soft. The weight is very evenly spread with a lovely smooth feel. Not lumpy as the bubble type cover suggests. Enough weight that makes it quite heavy when lifted up folded.Very good quality.

This is so comfortable and the weight of it is extremely calming. I asked for it as a birthday present, and I'm so glad I did as it is perfect and it is the best value I could find anywhere online for a weighted blanket with a removable cover. My husband on the other hand, hates it. It makes him feel claustrophobic. It would fit well over a single bed, but not a double, but as my husband dislikes it so much it suits me just fine.

Good quality. However, I feel like I need if to be heavier when it is over me it feels like a regular blanket. The beads aren't very well distributed so that might not help. I weigh around 45kg so thought the 5.5kg would be plenty as it's well over 10% of my body weight, however I'd want a heavier one to notice a big different I think. It is super calming nonetheless 😊

This was recommended to me following a diagnosis of fibromyalgia. Mornings are a struggle to get mobile as pain felt in lower legs.
