Perhaps best for people who already use agro-chemicals
The book arrived very quickly. I've enjoyed about reading of the history of aerial pesticide and herbicide application. It's an important topic for where I live. Often as I drive in the country I see these planes applying pesticides in fields right next to the 2-lane road I'm driving and I wondered about how they are kept to safe practices. After reading this book, I am more concerned than ever about this method of applying chemicals. And learning that drones are or will be assigned this task has me very concerned indeed. I appreciated the authors attempts to keep the analysis of this issue even-handed, but given court decisions in California about Roundup and other attempts to control dicamba many US states, I think the author could have covered the new findings about these chemicals coming out of Europe and how they should be influencing US uses of these chemicals. I will be searching for more critical analyses of aerial ag spraying to deepen my understanding of this subject.
