AvertX 8 Channel HD NVR Security System with 3TB HDD and 4 1080p IP Autofocus Dome Cameras

So far all looks great, just got the thing out of the box. Avertx is a plus plus product. Packing was #1 very nice job, great. The system was shipped directly from COSCO (you buy it cheaper)

We bought a 10 camera, 8TB system for our home we're building (built), and added two cameras based on coverage desired; all hard-wired PoE. The resolution of the cameras is awesome (4K spec), and even the installers, who normally install their preferred brand, were impressed with the viewable resolution. It "works" (worked) right out of the box, I had set up a rack w/a board on back to screw all the cameras to to test them all before install. And, if you want to customize your setup you do need to be comfortable with a notably higher degree of tech than the average bear, the biggest shortcoming I see. But, I wanted quality, a US developed/supported system, and after having it operational for 3 months, I hope I get years of happy service from it.

I’m very disappointed in the system. It’s great when it works but it started to have problems before two year. For a system at this price point that’s ridiculous. At first it started to have connection issues every few weeks. Support tried for a few months to fixed it, hard reset, system firmware upgrade, etc. only lasted another month. By that time my warranty has expired and now they offered $800 for a new receive or fix the motherboard for $225. Support claims that we can’t prove the earlier issues are related pre-warranty expiration. It’s basically been having the same problem! I would not recommend or buy a AvertX product again.

The AvertX systems are simply fantastic. I'm not a techy person, I found them incredibly intuitive and easy to install and start up (if you have decent access for the wiring to be run). The camera and DVR system are incredibly stable and easy to view live and review stored video from anywhere in the world on your phone or computer. I've had other systems, none were this easy or had nearly the night vision that these cameras have. In fact the night pictures have more clarity than other cheaper cameras have during day time hours. I prefer their 'bullet' cameras overall, but the 'dome' cameras have a dark cover so 'bad guys' aren't sure which direction the camera is pointed. I've used both systems 2-3 years. Customer service, Dan in particular, deserves 6 stars.

I had a professional company install ICRSS on my home when I did the construction. Not really a bad product but VERY expensive and the features are not great. I purchased two Avertx systems from Costco for some apartments I own and installed them myself. THEY ARE GREAT!! Easy to install, setup and use. I highly recommend these systems.UPDATE 7/10/2019 I LOVE THIS SYSTEM EVEN MORE TODAY!! I was just able to diagnose and fix a camera remotely. The system provide easy identification of all the cameras, shows the IP of each, lets you ping it from the DVR and then log in to each camera remotely and reboot the offending camera. No idea why it went offline but I am so happy I did not need to drive to the site.

These are the best cameras on the consumer market you can get. I monitor two locations in two different countries. Mac compatible. Intimidating cameras. inferred blares at night. These are banker cameras and a good value for it. Don't think twice. These guys are great.
