I bought two of these kits, one for my 5 year old grandson and one for my 4 year old granddaughter. Both of them love the kits. They were easy to use, definitely spurred creativity, and the finished products are still being played with. The clay is easily moldable and both children were able to put together the skeletons with little help from their parents. All around good product, quick delivery even during the holiday period (to Seattle and San Diego) and thoroughly enjoyed by both children. Highly recommended.

Very involved and fun project for a child and adult to do together. It took my 7 year old and I maybe an hour or 2 to put a dinosaur together from beginning to end (with a few breaks and distractions). We used glue for some connections that were too lose. The clay is very soft and light. Easy enough to apply on the dinosaur skeleton specially if you are ok with it looking bumpy and imperfect. It was fun and there are still 2 more dinosaurs to do.

This was a great purchase. I’ve done one of these from another brand with my son before, I personally like the other better.Reasons why only 4 stars & not 5:Compared to a previous brand I had used these are sooner and easier to breakThere’s a sawdust like substance on every piece you pop out which is irritating on your skin.I loved the amount of clay given in this set! It was superior to the other brand in the amount given. It allowed creativity while building the dinosaurs to be a multitude of colors!

my 5 and 3 yr old needed help with assembly of bones, but it was fun to do together! note: i super glued the bones together keep the body from falling apart. Then the kids had a blast with the clay and molding the bodies and decorating them! they play with them often and look adorable on the shelf in my sons room.

This is a great toy! There are three wooden models, which were fun to put together- not too easy but not too difficult. Then the next play value is putting clay on the skeleton. The children can be very creative. The play set provided hours of fun for two boys - 11 and 8. Would highly recommend.

It's super cute! Gifted it to a 4 year old who loves dinosaurs!

The wood breaks easily and not all of the pieces fit well. I would definitely say for ages 6+. The clay is fun and super easy to clean up (at least if you get it before it dries). My biggest complaint was how delicate the wood was. But overall it was a successful craft time. Got about an hour of entertainment from it, but required extra help for building the bones.

Write the numbers on the wood pieces before taking them out.
