These fans work great in Dell machines, they replace the original JMC Datech model 0925-12HBTA, NMB 3610KL-04W-B66, Nidec Beta V TA350DC, or other brand 92mm x 25mm fans, using the Dell proprietary 3 pin connector. They are single speed fans, not temperature controlled. There is a possibility you may get a fan error message upon bootup, which can be cleared manually and normal booting will continue. Not all Dell's do this, but some will. This error message does not affect functionality, it's just a method Dell uses to try to force their customers to buy fans through them at grossly inflated prices. Often you can change your bios settings to stop the error message by going to the power management settings, and change low power mode to off, then changing the suspend mode to S1. Also we've heard of customers having success setting their "halt on" settings to "no errors". It beats paying Dell over $50 for an original one that's usually refurbished. The only real drawback is if you're doing remote booting, which wouldn't work because you need to be where the computer is to clear the boot error message. We also carry the original JMC Datech model 0925-12HBTA (9025-12HBTA) thermally controlled fans that will not give you a bootup error message, but they cost significantly (about 3x) more.
