Love it! MacCready said it looked great, but Childs didn't like it. Don't trust Childs.

If you're like me, your single most enduring question from childhood was, "Where the hell did Palmer get his weed from?" Well, in the first draft of the screenplay, it was Childs not Palmer who was "The Man" at Outpost 31, but Carpenter decided having both of the movie's black characters be such flagrant ne'er-do-wells would be racist, so that responsibility got transferred to Palmer. Anyway there was a whole dramatic scene that was cut from the screenplay before it could even be filmed where Mac and the gang cornered the Thing in Childs'/Palmer's giant greenhouse full of towering pot plants, Not sure how realistic that would be on a remote gov't research outpost, but whatever. Anyway, love the movie and the shirt.

I love this shirt. Not everyone recognizes the reference, but those who do appreciate it. The material is good quality and the screen print is very well done. I see some of the other reviewers said the size was weird, but I didn't have that experience. Mine is the Military green, Gildan, and I wonder if some of the colors were from batches that were mis-sized or something. It's a medium and fits just as it should. I didn't notice any shrinkage after washing, but I do all my clothes on cold with gentle drying, so that might make a difference.

I bought the shirt for the logo. Love it! Good print quality. Shirt is good quality cotton, as well. Standard retail fit and US sizing, so it's loose fitting, not tight around the body, even with a bit of a belly. Length is a little below the belt, not too short, though I usually prefer a little longer these days.

Great design but would love to see this on a better shirt. The 100% cotton tends to shrink a bit and this is one of those cuts that's a bit wider than long. If you're a tall skinny guy this shirt will feel a tiny bit short and a bit roomy around the middle.

Cool transfer that looks slightly worn and is well positioned. Would have been a real shame if it had gotten ruined when the alien life-form was executing the duplication process on its victim. Seriously, it’s a nice, well-made shirt.

The color (military green), fit (I'm a heavy set/stocky guy = xxl), and printing on these are great. If you're looking for a The Thing t-shirt, check these out!

This t-shirt is good quality. It fades over time and washes. This is my second purchase of this shirt since it’s a favorite and the other one was looking quite used

Design on shirt printed hilariously off-centre, literally unbearable. Do not recommend.
