This cable works!
I had to replace an old defunct cable. I installed this between my Yaesu FTDX-5000MP and PC (running Windows 11) and it immediately showed a COM Port 3 on Device Manager. It has worked without a hitch using DX Lab program to control the FTDX-5000MP. I highly recommend.

Product meets requirements.
This cable is exactly what I needed. I had a legacy Com port device. It ran perfectly off my new laptop USB interface.

Solved my connection problem. Yay!
I had been using an old Vista laptop to connect to an electronic device in my homebuilt aircraft. With the Black Friday deals going on, I bought a nice HP windows 10 laptop and upgraded it to Win 11. So far, so good. Unfortunately, when I tried to hook my new computer to the device with my old usual USB to Serial cable, there was no connection. Rats. So, I went through all the usual stuff. Looking for obscure drivers, driver unloaders, etc., etc. Finally, on an avionics forum, someone mentioned this cable. I got it right away and went to the FTDI chip site for drivers and downloaded their latest update Win 11 driver package for my HP. Then after all that, bingo! It connected just find and I am now able to download all my flight and engine information. Now I can put my old Windows Vista laptop back on Ebay.
