The whip is ok.
This is decent for the money considering I sent $210 for a good one similar to this but if this is all you can afford the the quality is decent. Really the only issue is that it needs more weight.

It’s too stiff doesn’t make any noise
Tried to crack this thing for so long it’s too stiff to make any noise definitely wouldn’t recommend buying this one I rather just go to the person I went to before to get one.So definitely not worth buying

This is as bad as they come. A very poorly made whip sure to discourage any newcomer.

stiff in one direction and not much taper
I ordered 2 of these; 1 red, 1 blue, for me and my daughter and to have a matched set to practice 2 handed routines. Before they could arrive I watched a video from nickswhipshop and had produced several whips before these arrived. Turns out in a few hours you can make a much better whip than you can buy for $50 or $150 for that matter. These whips are very stiff and were bound tightly over for packaging creating hard kinks in one direction. That being said: The are light (rope core) and don't hurt much when you hit yourself and they are slow so I sometimes still use them to work out the movements of new routines before I try those routines with actual cracks. 15 amazon whips later I would suggest spending the money for a whip from someone with a name, or making one yourself.

Word of caution
Love the quality. This is my first whip, and the old saying rings true, practice makes perfect. Be careful trying to get the crack sound. Already hit may back, side of my ribs, shoulder, forearm, and hand. But the crack of the whip never gets old, LOL. Overall, great product
