I got tired of having to replace my razors and the cost of doing so with disposables. This is a great alternative. I get a smoother, closer shave and it has dramatically decreased the amount of razor burn, and ingrown hairs. The only downside is that it takes a lot lighter touch than disposables and at first was more likely to cut myself. The handle grip isn't slippery at all in the shower, even with soap, and it has weathered well in the last few months. Overall, very happy with this product and the money it has helped me save.

Primarily I like the cost of double edge razor blades. The new multi-blade razor blades has gotten ridiculous!!! This razor is well designed and has held up well (so far). The only drawback is that it makes me bleed from time-to-time but real men don't worry about a little blood and wounds ~ it adds character and bragging rights!

Very nice razor has beautiful details to it it is a 7 out of 10 in aggressiveness Gives a close smooth shave there is not too much weight to it and the handle is very long

After using this with double-edged blades, I find that I get too many nicks. While the shave with this is closer, I am going back to disposable safety razors just to save some blood and hassle. Still looks nice in my medicine cabinet.

can't believe it . for the price this is really a great shaver. not a fan of the razer blades that came with it. but with my usual razor blades this really looks and shaves great just my own personel opion

I have been using a double razor for over 5 years. I went on a trip and didn't think about it but TSA took my blades and handle?? When i got home from the trip I ordered this razor because I liked the handle - what a mistake!! I tried for three weeks to use this handle - I have never cut myself sooooo many times!! I had throw away an entire bath towel because I bled so much from the cuts! Don't order this item - I have learned my lesson! Spend the money - buy a quality handle!!

Along with the blades we purchased, my husband says he's getting smoothest shave he's had in years. Just remember, don't use as much pressure as with 5 blade products. It does the job with very little pressure.
