2011 Subaru Outback Install - Exceeded my expectations
Having read a lot of controversial reviews and comments regarding LED upgrades in general I was concerned regarding whether the dust cover would fit over the heatsink/fan and whether the light pattern would be ok and if it would be difficult to install. However I decided to give it a try as wanted the long life of LED's as I have already replaced regular H7 in the 2011 subaru outback 3 times. The installation went flawlessly - no additional effort versus regular bulbs - in fact because you install the steel retaining bracket seperately and then install the LED module into it - it is actually easier and then you align the LED's to 3 and 9 o'clock by twisting the LED module. Just need to ensure you watch polarity of the plug when you insert into the connector - plug has + sign and you align with red connector wire. There was plenty of space to reinstall the dust cover. They are super bright and white versus the standard and the light pattern is the same as the regular bulbs except the cut off line is even sharper. They are on the expensive side - but worth it if they last the specified hours! With the engine off you can hear the heat sink fans running even from inside the car but not with engine running so not an issue for me. I will post an update after they have some mileage on them.

Bright quality LED.
This led bulb is very well constructed and twice as heavy as another cheaper brand. Since this going in a bmw f30, I was afraid That I will need a canbus and resistive adaptor. To my surprise, no flickering or error messages in my fairly recent bmw. It is truly plug and play. However, I did need an adaptor holder to hold the Led. It is very bright. It is brighter than the factory LED headlamps that came with my bmw suv. The light quality is very good and spread evenly yet focused. This is the best LED out of the five different led that I have owned. Although it is almost twice as much as some brands, the light quality is worth it. Also, it is bright and any brighter others will flash at you. One of my best purchase on amazon.

Works in a 2016 MB GLE 350 Low Beam with some effort
These bulbs are very bright and have a great dispersion pattern in this car. So much better than the 35W stock halogens. I used the CANBus suppressor and the recommended MB H7 mounting clips. The bulbs clicked in nice and no flicker or error messages. As you can see I needed to perform some surgery on the dust cap to allow for the length of the bulb. If you want an easier time of it find bulbs that are a bit shorter. As far as the High Beams tried for an hour and couldn't get them to click in. Tricky as these are accessed from the side. No prob rarely use them anyway.

Great product with one flaw
I purchased these headlights as high beams for my 2005 Honda Civic. I already have Hikari low beams and I really like these headlights as well as my older model low beams. These headlights are extremely bright and distribute the light very well even in my reflector housings. These headlights can also be adjusted to get the LED chips perfectly horizontal so they will light effectively without blinding other drivers. The color of the light is also very nice. It is as close to a pure white as possible in my opinion. The light does not look blue like some other LED headlights do, it looks pure white to me. The only reason I didn't give these headlights 5 stars is because installation in a nightmare! These headlights have a bidirectional plug with a locking tab on each side since LEDs need to have the correct polarity to work. This is a cool idea since it allows the plug to be connected either direction to get the correct polarity. However, the extra tab on the other side of the plug prevented me from being able to plug it in to my car's wiring harness. I had to file the extra locking tab off so the plug would fit. No big deal, but the difficulties didn't stop there. The next problem I had is that the plug is a VERY tight fit. You would think that would be good, but it makes the plug next to impossible to plug in. It took me an hour to install these headlights because I had such a hard time plugging them in. I have strong hands and I was BARELY able to plug these headlights in. I don't know if these headlights are always so hard to plug in or if that has to do with the connectors on my car's wiring harness, but either way totally unacceptable. The connectors fit the stock bulbs just fine, so no reason for them to not fit these headlights. But looking at the positive, I most certainly don't need to worry about these headlights coming unplugged while driving since there is no way I could get these headlights unplugged even if I wanted to.The other great thing about Hikari is that they stand behind their products. One of my low beams failed a year after I purchased them, so I emailed Hikari about the problem and they apologized and immediately shipped me a new set of headlights free of charge. Within a day or two, I had received my replacement headlights. From my experience, this company's customer service is outstanding!

Great output, didnt have to cut dust boot on 14 Tundra
Excellent setup that allows easy installation and tuning. The design of the base ring allows these to be fit through the dust boot of my 2014 Tundra WITHOUT having to cut it. One just has to remove the ring and pass through the boot before reattaching the ring. Then, you can turn the bulb so that you get the optimum beam pattern, which they suggest is sideways. That is, the LED emitters should point flat across to the left and right of the car.

Junk. Never buying hikari again.
This is the second or third set of hikari lights I’ve bought and have been majorly disappointed with them every time. The beam pattern is nice, however the light it’s self is very dim! Worse than factory. I’ve installed with error code decoders for some of them to stop flickering but the brightness is junk regardless. Figured I’d try them one more time and have been disappointed once again. Also at a stop I notice they get dimmer then brighter and so on. Even with resistors and everything. So my final decision is hikari is absolutely junk! Returned and bought sea light set and wow. What a difference. Sea light is now the only brand I will use. And I’ve tried them all. Car rover, sea light, hikari, rcp, auxbeam, and more. just about every amazon brand out there and sea light and aux beam are my go to. Save money and get better light. Go with a different brand.

Much brighter replacement for my 2014 Ford Edge stock halogens.
Replaced my stock Halogen bulbs with these LED bulbs in my 2014 Ford edge. They are much brighter than the stock halogen bulbs. Easy replacement, the connectors that came with LED bulbs are on a pig tail and matched the stock harness. They are bigger than the stock bulb but fits inside the housing comfortably. You have reverse the connector if they do not turn on. No flicker or CAN bus errors so far. Have to wait and see if they last.

Nice light but a couple improvements would help
The light itself is great. Very bright, and has a decent beam pattern and a reasonably good cutoff. No complaints on that part.Disappointed that we had to spend more and buy the anti flicker resistors though. Also the lock ring doesn't really fit the headlight housing receptor very nicely. It doesn't lock in very well. The bulb itself is removeable from the lock ring and fully clockable to achieve the beam pattern, the issue is it is only secured into the lock ring by an O-ring. Its a snug fit but really a positive lock tab would be better. They work well, we will see how long they last.

Better than any xenon or HID kit
Im not the type to go out of my way to write reviews but after driving with these after a few days I have been blown away by the quality. My 1 of my HIDs burnt out so I was going to use these until I get my replacements. but after using these Im just going to use them because I can't tell a difference. highly recommend

great lights
I've had these type of lights before and there great but they didn't last as long as they should, had to replace one just before warranty was up.
