My old shampoo machine that I inherited 11 years ago broke a belt. While trying to figure out why it wasn’t working I found that the original piece melted somehow and caused the belt to seize.I will state that this part is likely to fit other models. I had to take the steel rod out and put it back in on the other side so the guide pieces would line up properly. Not a big deal at all.Best of all, with new belts and this new piece, it cleans like a new machine!If your shampooer doesn’t seem like it’s scrubbing as well as it used to, this might need replacing. Easy diagnostic.

Perfect Fit
This item installed quickly and easily on my Bissell Proheat. Exact fit. Appears to be OEM, but I did not think to verify before I threw the bag away. I only needed one of the plastic ends, but found this and figured, for the price, I could not go wrong replacing the whole assembly. Glad I did, the machine works like new again. (purchased from Crucial Vacuum Inc)

Picture not of actual product.
My original roller brush has 6 rows of bristles. The picture for this Item shows 6 rows. The roller brush that was shipped only has 4 rows.Only reason for not returning was time. Need to use.

Works Perfectly
I contacted Bissell customer service to help me find a replacement brush for my 10 year old Bissell Pro Lift Powerbrush. I was worried this would not work as my model is not listed as one of the compatible ones, but the Bissell customer service associate was correct. It was easy to install, and my carpet cleaner is working better than ever. So glad I did not have to upgrade to a newer model. Also, this one had more rows of bristles than the roll that came with the machine, so that was a huge plus.

Don’t trust directions
After trying to figure out the issue. The wide part of the clip should be on the bottom towards the floor when flipped. The beater bar axle was in backward. One end has a tab that goes in the plastic piece. After an hour of videos and such I ripped the axle out and turned it around. Seems to be correct now.
