Seiko 12 Inch Classic Numbered Wall Clock, Silver

I just love this clock. it makes my house more beautiful.

Large wall clock is easy to read. Seems to keep good time but I have only had it a couple weeks now. Time will tell.

Works well. Arrived quickly.

This is very attractive, simply styled clock. I purchased it to hang on the soffit in my laundry room. I can see it first thing as I walk in the back door. I bought a Seiko because it's the 3rd clock for this wall, the first two just stopped telling the correct time (yes, I changed to a new battery before blaming the clock). So I wanted a better quality clock and this one is running very well. I would recommend it.

If you need a 12" clock for your living room, this is a good choice. I read a previous review with a complaint about the hands not being "quiet sweep" hands. Ok, they don't sweep, they tick. That part of the complaint is valid. The hands are quiet, however. I'm sitting about 8 feet away now and can't hear them tick at all. To hear any ticking I have to get two or three feet from the clock and even then it's very faint. If you live in a library type environment and a ticking clock is going to drive you crazy, you should continue your search for an absolutely silent clock. I live in a city with cars going by and people talking on the street almost constantly. Ticking clocks are just not on my radar at all.The chrome bezel/border of the clock is actually plastic. You can't tell it's plastic unless you tap it with your finger. I actually had to go give it a tap just now to remind myself it's not actually metal. It will hold fingerprints but, you can wipe it with a cloth you might use to clean your glasses with and the prints wipe right off.I almost chose the Sharp atomic clock and I might have been happy with that. Do you want a wall clock made by a company with a reputation for making good alarm clocks or do you want a wall clock made by a company with a reputation for making good wristwatches? It really looks like a 12" wristwatch on my wall, which makes me happy. If you like a Seiko watch, you'll like this clock.

This clock looks great on the wall! The clock face numbers are easy to read, and we consider the second hand to be an appreciated bonus feature.
