Attractive album cover. It does have a slightly suede finish and is protected with a clear sleeve that may be removed. Photo sleeves appear to be decent quality. The only thing I don't like is the width of the writing area--too narrow to write very much description to go with the pictures. It is hard to find good quality photo albums in stores due to most people using digital media for picture storage ,and this album is a good choice for people who still wish to print and display their photos.

this book is really cute for the price, and it came in great timing. It has space for writing next to every picture & can hold a good amount. We used it for vacation pictures & we still have space for next year's vacay!

I gave this album to my mom for Christmas and it served its purpose of holding photos from a recent family vacation. I would recommend this a nice, functional photo album.

I bought this for the pictures from our 50th wedding anniversary trip to Bali, Indonesia. It holds 200 pictures which I thought would be a great size. As it turned out, I have less than ten empty spaces at the end of the album. The pictures slide in very nicely. They are all displayed in landscape mode so that you have to turn the book to see the pictures in portrait mode, but that is pretty much what you get when you have two different modes of viewing. I have seen albums that give you a combination but, unless you get to chose how each page is constructed, you have still dependent on how the pages match your pictures.The area for writing notes is sufficient. The denoted lines are about one inch wide by three inches long. However, what I did was to print my verbiage off on 2 x 4" labels which I then pasted over top of the memo area. It remains to be seen how well they will stick.Just as a note I will mention that the first album came with the binding broken. When I contacted Amazon about this I was promptly sent a replacement album which was perfect.I will note one other thing. The album only takes 4 x 6" pictures. However, I had something that was about 6 x 8" which I wanted to add to the album. I was able to take the divider in the center apart so that I could put that item into the book. The only problem is that the 4 x 6 " pictures on the other side can now move around a little.I would definitely considering buying this again for another album for another trip. Hopefully it will last well and give us many years of joy reviewing our dream trip.

I just recently got back from a East Europe trip and needed a photo album to hold over 160 pictures and this album the perfect fit. It’s very well made and the cover has plastic over it to protect the felt . I love it and will order another one for my next overseas trip

The plastic cover came a little messed up, but I removed it anyway. This is the BEST photo album with plenty of spaces and room for notes! Nice and sturdy covers. Would buy again!

Use several of these to organize travel photos--very nice layouts, good value!

This album feels and looks great, with the suede outside. Great construction. The design is well done, and it holds 200 photos. The memo sections are the perfect size to write in details so we remember what we did when we get older! We used it to hold photos from our cruise, and it works perfectly!

GREAT ALBUM. HAS SPACE TO WRITE DETAILS ABOUT EACH PHOTO. MAKE PRINTING OFF PHOTOS GREAT AGAIN FOLKS.

Very nice photo album! 2 slots per page for 4x6". Seems like great quality.

Love the album filled it with pics from a recent family vacstion, it's now sitting on my coffee table , it's a beautiful rich felt chocolate brown color

Nice album but a tad small but will do the job just fine

This this is great. It does the job. Although it advertises that you can add photos in vertically, but there's no real way to do that. I had to detatch the plastic sheet and tape the photos on.
