Go-to for severe hikes and runs, accept no substitute.
This stuff is magic. I've done trail marathons (woefully unprepared) and with the balls of my feet and heels fully taped, and some lube between my toes, I didn't get a single blister. I've also hiked 10s of miles across multiple days of camping without putting fresh tape on and it stayed in place! (Even in the wet of Hawai'i!) The only downside is, if you do get a blister beneath the tape, it sticks so well you'll be tearing off skin with it. Might be able to dissolve the adhesive, but I also got the adhesive on my in-camp sandals and it still hasn't worn or washed off nearly a year later! But if you're sick of your tape or moleskin constantly falling off, this will solve that issue. Tried to use it on sweaty thighs for chafing once without success. Probably would have worked if put on while the skin was dry. I've also used it to restrict motion of an appendange and it's great for that too, flexible diagonally but very stiff along and across its length.

Best blister prevention for backpackers
If you are a hiker or backpacker this is the tape to use for blister prevention/treatment. I work on a trail crew, so I spend all summer backpacking in the woods for nine days at a time. Needless to say, blisters are a fact of life! Unlike moleskin or duct-tape, this tape will stay on even when you sweat, or have to get your feet wet crossing rivers. I usually leave it on for three days without putting on a new strip, but I have worn it for much longer without it coming off. I usually tape up my problem spots before I head out, and this prevents blisters from forming, I have used it to cover active blisters, but since it is so adhesive, I would suggest placing some other kind of dressing (I use a small piece of Tegaderm) over the blister and covering the whole thing with the Leukotape to prevent the tape sticking to injured skin. The roll is big, and lasts me all season. I buy the two pack to gift to crew-mates. Get this stuff!

Tried another brand, switched back to Leukotape
After using Leukotape for months for foot arch support, I did some extensive research into other brands and tried a popular cheaper brand, Hampton Adam's Rigid Strapping Tape , but I found the adhesive didn't hold nearly as well, and it also seemed to be irritating my skin even though I don't have sensitive skin. While both have roughly zero horizontal stretch, the Hampton has more diagonal stretch, which effectively means more 'give' in most situations, making it less rigid but more able to wrap around and accommodate curves and corners. For my purposes, that makes the Leukotape superior. The rigidity and adhesive of the Leukotape is unmatched!

Old, ruined stock from this seller.
This tape is usually great, but the rolls from this company suck! The two rolls I received appear to be old and/or heat degraded. The rolls arrived misshaped (not round) and the adhesive sticking to both sides of the tape. It's difficult to peel off and the back sticks to and picks up everything, making it a mess!

Perfect for my needs
Perfect for my needs. I tape my feet for long distance trail running. This (and the white tape from the same brand you put under hot spots or any sensitive spots) saved my feet from having not even one blister from a really tough 100k I did in Idaho a couple of months ago. I has water crossings and the tape didn't come off after that, so it's a winner for me. I have also seen people putting tape in other hot spots on their body (for ultra marathons) like rubbing from the hydration packs. I don't have that issue but is good to know.

I love Leukotape and I'm so glad the price has gone ...
I call this brace begone! I love Leukotape and I'm so glad the price has gone down from the outrageous $68/roll my PT charged me ten years ago when I started using it. I have a perineal tendon that doesn't want to stay where it's supposed to be. I have had surgery on it, and I'm supposed to use a brace or ankle support, and I HATE those. So I make my own brace out of Leukotape. My PT showed me how to apply it, and I've used it for years. You can usually find a Youtube video to show you how. I've never rolled my ankle while wearing it.It is super sticky, and you're supposed to have an underlayment of some white tape, but I usually just tape it to my skin and figure I'm exfoliating when I take it off. You can shower with it on, too, just blot it dry or use your blow dryer on it if it bothers you that it's wet. It lasts at least two days per application, sometimes three. And it's so much easier to pack than an ankle brace!

Versatile Hiking/Backpacking MUST HAVE!
Great to have for hiking!! This roll is large and will last a long time! We don't carry the entire roll hiking/backpacking but we wrap some around a straw (cut into a short piece) and take that with us instead. This stuff is perfect for numerous things on the trail! It will handle blisters, hotspots, cuts and also help with repairing equipment...it's so versatile, lightweight and easy to use!! It is REALLY adhesive so it can hurt pulling it off the skin but it stays in place through sweat and water so that's not a negative!! I keep a small amount in my backpack and daypack as well as in my car.

Everything else you've used and you thought was good is substandard
This is what you want if you want to avoid blisters. Nothing - and I mean NOTHING - sticks to your foot as well as these do. Everything else you've used and you thought was good is substandard. You put this onto an area you think you'll get a blisted BEFORE and nothing will happen as all of the abrasion will go onto this tape. And it will not come off. Also if you do get a blister you can treat it and then put this on top of whatever you put to protect the skin to keep it in place. Of course don't put the stickiest stuff in the world on top of an open wound directly.

WARNING LATEX
No where in the description of the product does it mention LATEX. I just wasted so much money I these cause I can’t use latex. I’m severely allergic. After applying it to the knee. I immediately started to break out in a rash. And I can’t even return it. And now it’s on sale to boot. What a kicker.

Trusted and long time user of this branded tape
Nothing to dislike, I already knew what I was buying from past experiences with patients, but you do need hypafix to prevent reactions
