Wonderful luxury GHD set. Platinum + styler in a lovely faux Leather carry case. Keeps your GHD safe and secure.As for the straighteners themselves, well its GHD at their best. These glide so smoothly through your hair, no tugging or pulling on your hair. The actual barrel are not hot to touch so less chance of burning yourself. A great buy.

I have had my old GHD V Gold Styler (Copper Luxe Collection) for around four years and recently, one of the heated plates had broken.After much contemplation and hesitation, I decided I would purchase myself some new GHD’s and upgraded to the Platinum +.They arrived in their handy little case, which makes it easier to travel with your straighteners. I usually tie the cable around the straighteners and throw them in the bottom of my bag, making them liable to damage, but this case will be the end of that.They make a loud chime when they are turned on, off and are heated which is great. You cannot accidentally turn the straighteners off or on without realising.Although you cannot change the heat of the straighteners, they are the perfect temperature- not too hot and not too cool. They style my hair perfectly. The overall look is smooth and sleek, just how you would expect from GHD’s.The shape of these straighteners also make curling the hair super easy - something I’ve never been able to do properly with other hair straighteners.The colour of these straighteners (which is definitely pink) is beautiful!The button, shape and quality is definitely a major upgrade in comparison to my previous styler. My only complaint would be that you do not get a heat proof mat with the new styler. However, the case to keep the styler together is silicone rather than the previous plastic and stays in place.Overall, super happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend!If you do purchase, make sure you set up your free warranty on the GHD website to save your own back; just in case.

Very good value for money, heat up quikly, come with sturdy case for travelling and a cover to avoid accidentally touching them and getting burnt.

My first ever set of GHD straighteners and they're the best I've had for years. Love the colouring of them as well. Hair stays straight for days and feels so much healthier since using them.

I bought these straighteners for £199.99 & was disappointed that within a couple of days they had been reduced to £149,99. I've used them a few times now & noticed that it actually takes longer for me to straighten my hair using these compared to my other straighteners, this is probably because my other straighteners are twice as wide. There is no heat control per se (apparently it's built in & the heat changes automatically), I would prefer a physical heat control as I'm growing hair dye out to allow the natural grey to come through, I would choose to reduce the heat at the front of my hair where there is more grey so as not to burn or discolour it (I do use a heat protector). Having said all that, once my hair is straightened, it lasts longer than it does with my other straighteners, my hair is still straight after a few days without the need to straighten it again which is impressive as I've always had to quickly run my other straighteners through my hair again after sleeping on it as my hair would always kink or frizz. Overall, I do like these straighteners & would recommend them to others.

Great product only gave one for temperature control as this isn’t a feature. Nice travel case.
