We don't wear our shoes inside the house. I suppose it's one of the reasons that my 20+ year old carpet still looks new. I have (had) a place for my shoes by the front door since the day we received the keys to our new home, but when the grandkids are here and when we have family get togethers there can be as many as 20 pairs of shoes crowded around the front door and the wife insisted I 'do something'. The SONGMICS 2-Tier Shoe Bench/Boot Organizing Rack Entryway Storage Shelf was that 'something' and we could not be more pleased.What I Like:I'm going to use my as stated, for shoes at my entryway, but honestly, this two tier rack could be used for plants or books or virtually anything you'd like to display.Used as a shoe rack, there is a small seating area for those who require a seated position to put on their shoes. I used some sticky back Velcro to place a shoe horn at the end of the bench for extra convenience.The natural bamboo wood looks great. The finish is neatly done, it's free of defects and if for some reason you don't like the natural finish, it could be painted or stained.It ships in pieces and requires assembly. The directions were clear, the pre-cut pieces fit together nicely and assembly was quick and easy. From start to clean-up was about 45 minutes.The style fits in any room.It's sturdy and built to last.The cost. The price point is fantastic when you consider the quality, the design, the sturdiness and the number of potential uses.

I keep this bench loaded with old journals, yearbooks, and magazines. The top is handy as extra seating in my tiny NYC apartment. Assembling the bench was strenuous, but it came out great—extremely sturdy and lightweight. Highly recommended product.

Love it (and I'm picky).I live in a small townhouse, no garage, but have bicycles that greet you as soon as you enter. I needed something to organize and visually decrease the clutter that jumps at you as you walk in. This totally fit the ticket. Isn't too wide or too tall, so it fits perfectly under the two bikes hanging from the wall, and nicely displays my various cycling shoes and helmets. The wood is a "raw, natural wood color, and when I initially ordered I planned on staining it. Changed my mind after after setting it up: looks great au naturale.I can't comment on ease of assembly; I am fortunate to live with a guy who loves putting stuff together (and taking it apart) and so it was like magic to me. Box arrives; open box; go to the restroom and VOILA!! pretty bench. Okay, so I exaggerate slightly, but, really, assembly was pretty quick and he said "no problem."I've been so disappointed with the substandard quality of many products post-Covid that I've kept my expectations in check. This product exceeded even pre-Covid expectations. Although it took a long, long time to fill the order (and Amazon reached out to ask if I wanted to cancel), I'm glad I waited it out. Great product.

Claims "load capacity of 264 lb" I am 135 and you can feel the boards bending when I stand on it. Not too much, but I wouldn't plan on it standing up to much more weight.

I had the hardest time finding a slim, but relatively long bench for our tiny entryway but when I found this, I was very excited &hopeful. I noticed that none of the bad reviews were even based on it breaking - only that it bent and made noise. But I know what kind of material bamboo is.Upon receiving it, assembly was very simple. I know for a fact also that it handles my 200+, 6' 5" husband who likes to (as I say) bomb furniture when he sits down (since he is so tall he just falls really hard and fast when he sits anywhere), and myself although I am only about 110 lbs. The squeaking freaked us out a bit at first, but really this bench is great and strong. Since he wears size 15, I was also happy that they had the picture showing the actual dimensions of the bench. This is honestly a great product if size is of importance due to limited space. &The slats where shoes are placed are the perfect size to handle both my size 6.5 in women's footwear, &my husband's size 15 in men's footwear. I'm sure it would handle children's footwear well, too. We use the lower level for more shoes, since we don't have children yet.For those worried about bamboo's strength, or the sounds the bench makes when a good amount of weight is put on it, I have included a video I found to show how squeaky/creaky but also strong that bamboo is. It may bend &creak, but it won't break! [...]

We have a very small space that we needed to organize so this shoe storage bench is just what we needed. Instead of placing boots in the designated area, we purchased a small bin that fits perfectly giving space to store other types of items. The bench is sturdy and looks great. We put it together in about 20 minutes and the instructions were fairly straight forward. Highly recommend.

The media could not be loaded. I love that the bench fits exactly where I wanted it to fit in the bathroom. The size is perfect. I love that it comes with shelves I know that it says that you can use it for shoes. I am using it to store my toiletries and items and I’m using it as a dress bench in outside my bathroom. I really recommend this item. I am very happy with my choice.

Easy to put together, is a great addition near the door to place shoes. Looks clean as well...cute and compact. Recommend. Just keep in mind it's not huge, and not much space for shoes if you use the top as a bench. Perfect for kid's shoes
