Amazing value for the price. The bearings aren't super high quality, that alone would probably be half the price of these tuners. But they work fine like ball bearings should. I can't believe the only other tuners I've seen with bearings are over $300 on StewMac, which leads me to believe they are more of a gimmick than anything. They are precise and well built, put them on a cheap Ibanez (which is what you should buy if you are looking for a budget guitar, came set up perfectly out of the box and amazing value) that had wonky tuners. Slid right in, no issues, and just had to make new holes on the inner two screws, the outer ones were the same location. Overall very impressed, the gearing and bearing also came oiled.

Less than half the price of similar name brand tuners
Tuners arrived sooner than predicted. Gears are well fitted, no slop. Nicely finished. I was a little concerned about the shaft spacing. The product description doesn't really say what it is, but refers to something they call "pitch" as 36mm. The almost universal standard for shaft spacing is 35mm and that, it turns out, is what these have. As Richard D says in his otherwise very helpful reply to a customer question, everything about these tuners speaks of quality. The bearings on the ends of the shafts are usually found only in very expensive tuners. Likewise the riveting that holds the worm gear brackets in place. So, if you like the appearance of these machines, they are a real bargain.

With a little work they look great!
They fit perfectly on my guitar. I did disassemble the knobs and sanded and put a clear coat on them. I'm surprised they went to the trouble of putting bearings on them and then used raw wood for the knobs. One thing I noticed was that when mounted to the sides of the headstock they don't lay perfectly flat because of the way they are constructed. They still look and work fantastic though.

Very very good tuners
mechanics and appointments far superior to any tuners I have seen at this price. One could quibble aesthetics with the selection of gold slots, and I would Probably not argue, but these are really good ball bearing tuners For about 50 bucks. Bravo indeed

Best smoothest tuners
Smoothest tuners I’ve ever used in my 60 years of playing. Would buy again in a second. These are great!!!

Look elsewhere
Garbage. The treble side doesn't stay in tune... After a months. Whats worse is that G string peg has a 90 degree play. The fancy ball bearings doesn't help if the tuners are garbage. Go for Gotoh, Grover, Schaller. All those no name tuners are hit and miss....

Work well, but those buttons!
These work very well but the buttons are a silly design. I swapped on some more normal plastic buttons. All of the vendors who list these told me that the buttons are non-replaceable, but they are!

Strap and screw positions are not standard
Based on my 4 slot-head nylon strung guitars, standard distance between top and bottom screw positions is 10cm. These are 9.6cm. Standard strap length is 12 cm, these are 10cm. The bearings on the winding posts is an excellent idea. I sent these back to Amazon
