Let's face it: when you're a voluptuous goddess, buying jeans is almost as bad as buying swimsuits. I loathe it. Every company has a different fit, a different idea of sizes, etc. I weigh 230, I'm 5'7", and wear a solid 3x, usually a size 22/24. I have an apple body, and long, more slender legs. Usually my waist is a size larger than my legs, so when I find jeans that fit in the waist, they're usually too baggy in the legs. I ordered these jeans in a size 22, and they fit perfectly! Comfortable in the waist, fitted in the legs.After wearing these for a while, they loosened up, probably due to the spandex/stretch in the fabric (which is great!). They don't bag at the knees! I have not washed these yet, I'm hoping they'll shrink just a bit, so they'll go on tight and loosen up a bit with wear. I will edit this review after I've washed and worn the jeans again.The dark color "mascara" was a dark, dark blue. I like it, but I'd love to see some lighter colors in this jean. I wore them with uggs and a casual tunic; I also dressed them up with a nice top and blazer, and menswear-style brogues.After purchasing these, I've since tried other Levi's signature jeans, including tall lengths (I have long legs), straight-leg jeans in typical blue, etc. When you find a company that makes jeans that look good, you buy more! The best part is how ridiculously affordable these jeans are. I wrote this original review 2 years ago. But the updated version of the same jeans are not the same at all. There is no “short” option. Only Regular or Plus. I’m 5’1”, 103 pounds. Same as 2 years ago. I tried to buy my original order (size 4S) again and was taken by Amazon to the same Regular jeans. So I bought the R (regular) with a shorter leg (28 instead of 30). The new jeans arrived labeled 4S! I thought great! They found a pair. They were even labeled with the old “mid rise, skinny” name. But no. The waist is about the same as my old pair. But the leg (28) was 2” LONGER than my old 30” leg! And the waist to crotch was much longer also, leading to a slightly baggy look in a stretch jean. Typical of how “regular” cut pants fit a short woman. I’m hoping they’ll be better after washing since the new black (noir) jeans have more cotton in them. Although the old ones have never shrunk. I already returned a similar pair with even longer legs. So I’m just giving up. I’ll try to sit a lot when I wear them. Or wear an oversize top:) what a disappointment!(I almost never write reviews of clothes but these jeans are simply the best I’ve ever had! I bought one pair (Rachel color) and they were a simply perfect fit with the stretch cmaterial. I’m only 5’1” and slender. I run & lift . Bought a 4S (short) and they’re like tailored for me. So then I bought 2 more pairs - with days in between so they weren’t all necessarily in the same lot. One Rachel again and one a dark blue color. All 3 fit the same. Which NEVER happens when I buy 2 of the same item! Beyond fit, the material is really really soft and already like a well loved, well washed pair of jeans. I’ve worn my first pair a number of times before washing and they don’t bag. Stay really fitted.)

I bought two pairs. For reference I'm 5' 3'' around 130 lbs. I bought a size 6 short and it fit perfectly though I did have variations between the two pairs in the exact same size. The material I wouldn't call actual jean/denim because it's rather thin, but it's very soft, stretchy, and comfortable. These are jeggings, not jeans.The mascara color I bought, was noticeably more loose in the legs compared to the other color which was called Janice. The Janice pair fit like a glove, and the Mascara had more give in the leg area. I ran into the same exact problem with American Eagle pants as well, so maybe they are made at the same place. If the Mascara color doesn't shrink up a bit in the wash, I plan on taking in the legs a bit.Regardless, I really like these. Other than the minor leg problem with one color, both pairs were a perfect size for me, look really nice, and feel great. I would buy more.Update: I've had these almost 2 years and they don't hold their shape very well any more. If you have to sit for any length of time the knee gets stretched out and the material gets baggy everywhere. Spend a little more and get better quality of be fine with replacing every year.

I first ordered my normal size (my Old Navy size) in a 16 regular. They were too small with not much stretch. Returned for an 18 and they’re absolutely perfect! I would venture to say the “Bae” color runs small. Other reviews said other colors ran big. Not sure. I love the color and the fit of these jeans! I have such a hard time finding jeans. I am top heavy with muscular legs and skinny ankles. Jeans always fit baggy around my ankles if they fit around my waist. Not these! If you have larger legs or cankles, you may want to size up at least one or the ankles of the jeans may be too tight. But for my weird shaped body these jeans work great!
