Divine fudge! Only want MORE! Sweet tin!! ☜(゚ヮ゚☜)
Bought this vanilla fudge in the highland bull tin because he loves bulls since his sign is Taurus. He's not a big sweets person, but he does love the flavor of these candies. We'd both thought it was a tin of cut fudge, not candy fudge, so it has the consistency more of a candy bar fudge, i.e. between a tootsie roll and a nougat--not as soft as a cut fudge, but fabulous because the flavor is divine! Definitely would buy again and gift, worth the price as it's a sweet, well made tin. 5-stars for taste, presentation and quality.

Tin is delightful, fudge is not for me!
I ordered the vanilla fudge in the poppy tin, and as much as I enjoy vanilla fudge in general, this fudge was just not enjoyable for me. Although I wish the tin was a bit larger, it has such a lovely design! I bought the poppy design to fit a WWI-era themed Christmas tea and it stood out well on the tray! The treats were enjoyed by others and that was all I was asking for, really.

Great gift; gorgeous tin; fudge is ok
The fudge was ok. It was not what I expected; it was kind of like a little square of grainy sugar icing, rather than a creamy fudge or caramel. Kind of like a maple sugar candy. Despite being different from my expectations, I still thought the candies were tasty, and I ate them all within a few days. I liked that they were made with good, simple ingredients, like sugar, butter, milk, and vanilla. There aren't any nasties here. They're each individually wax-paper wrapped. The consistency is soft, and not sticky, so they don't stick to your teeth and they aren't hard to chew. The flavor was kind of between butterscotch and maple. You only get a small handful of candies, so they don't last long. I probably wouldn't buy this again for the fudge itself. What WAS completely impressive was the tin! It's so pretty! It's really small, like a little candy dish with a lid. The flowers are lovely and there's a lot of variety. The design is 3D/embossed deeply into the metal with the flowers printed over it. The lid fits really smoothly and it's easy to open, unlike some tins. I would 127.24% buy this again, just for the tin! The current price of $7 makes it a great little gift, much more expensive-looking than it is! There was also a sweet little matching flowered gift tag that came with this, but I already discarded it...sorrrry! I think the appearance, and novelty of a Scottish gift make this a great stocking stuffers, hostess gift, or office gift.

A Veritable Feast of Fudge and Poppies!
Pay attention to the size of the tin and the amount of candy inside. It does state that plainly in the description. The fudge is good. It would be a great hostess gift for a person who can handle sugar. I did not find this too sweet and I like the fact that it does not stick to teeth or mouth. The tin is beautiful and arrived in flawless condition. A perfect pick me up for a dark, cloudy day. The red poppies are simply beautiful.

Adorable tin, tasty treats
Normally, my husband won’t touch stuff like this, but he *loved* this, and I got a great little tin out of it. This tastes like some fabulous British fudge I had decades ago and can’t get any more. It has a slightly granular texture, which I mention, as some people don’t like that. However, 60 years ago, that was pretty standard, before people got used to “cheater” fudge, made either with sweetened condensed milk, or marshmallows, or powdered sugar, all of which are grotesquely sweet, but with less actual flavor. Those have less flavor because they are not really cooked until the sugar begins to caramelize. Just melting and stirring, adding powdered sugar until you have the consistency you want, may be candy, but it is not true fudge. This is better.
