DIY Woodwork: Beginner?s Guide How to Build a Sauna

I was extremely disappointed on the detail and schematics of building your own sauna. Instead I paid for the following:Clean the area where the sauna goesMake sure the floor is non-preambleGet the drywall out if there in walls/ceilingsinsulate the walls-and put aluminum foil from local grocery store for moisture barrier.put benches in because people will want to sitinstall ventilation for obvious reasons.Almost forgot-draw up your sauna specs on paper-make sure these are in safe spot until sauna is built.As my excitement for the book was zapped due to the lack of help it gives-but I read parts during dinner which allowed us to laugh at the book and me.Last words-Don't buy this book unless your looking for a white elephant gift for a sauna enthusiast.:(

little pamphlet, strange information on benefits of Sauna and random obscure Sauna types such as re-furbished telephone booths etc; no helpful information for actually building a sauna

You will not be able to build a sauna based on the information in this book (pamphlet). Gives the most basic and short descriptions of a sauna, then goes off into the health benefits, and small pictures of weird saunas (telephone booth, VW van). It would be a decent introductory chapter to a book on building saunas, but as a stand-alone its really bad. There's better and more detailed info free on the internet.

This book isn’t about woodworking, and it’s barely about saunas. Honestly, I genuinely assumed that it was a typo when I saw that it had 28 pages. Nope. 29 total pages.

Very little information. Not useful in the least bit. Some simple text, with virtually useless photographs. No drawings or instructions. Do not waste your time.

This book is so basic that without more help one is lost! No help in design. Cryptic discussion of materials and assembly. Only five pages TOTAL devoted to sauna design and construction. How did this even get published?

This book is an absolute waste of money. Any information provided in this sorry excuse for a book can be found in one chapter of a proper book on sauna. It looks like it was thrown together by a 12 year old for a school project. Obviously just a money grab.

Garbage.Thin and tiny brochure, low quality paper.Zero useful information.5 mins online research will bring you more.Skip it.
