Primary School English Grammar and Composition 3 to 5 Paperback – January 1, 2017

My fourth grader was struggling with grammar. Somehow the language classes in New Jersey don't incorporate formal grammar education. We in India learned excellent grammar from Wren and Martin and I decided to buy this for my daughter. Even though this book is meant for grade 1 - 3, and my daughter is in the 4th grade, we started from chapter one and found it immensely helpful. I strongly believe she needs to cover all of it before she starts getting the feel of writing and speaking correct grammar. Growing up in New Jersey, her primary language is english. However, she does struggle with writing correct grammar in essays. I believe this is going to be an excellent resource for her. The chapters are divided into small exercise / practice sections which are easy for a kid to grasp. We are working our way through and my daughter doesn't seem to mind at all. I highly recommend this book and plan to buy Wren and Martin for all grades in Middle as well as high School
