Gatco4050 Elevate 24" Towel Bar, Chrome

Easy install if you use the included template. I was skeptical about the plastic anchors but they held strong.

We liked it so much we buying a second one to match it. Excellent quality and very sturdy!

It's not really a bad quality product. It's sturdy enough and comes with wall anchors and hardware to make that a non issue even just putting it into straight drywall (which is what I had to do), but I docked the rating a little because this isn't 18 inches. In fact I'm not sure what part of it is supposed to measure 18 inches....The bar itself is much more than that, as is the distance between the outside edges of the part that's supposed to go up against the wall. As a result, I had to find a different location to install it than I had intended since I barely had 18 inches of room in the original spot. I see now that the dimensions say 20 inches or so, but they should really change the heading to match that....It's not accurate.

All of the products in this line are very good quality. They have a nice color and feel to them in person and overall I believe they are high quality and sturdy. Would recommend.

So we just moved to a new house, and had to buy alllllllll new hardware for the bathrooms. I went to my local HD, Lowes, and finally found this line at BBB that I just loved the look, feel, and sturdy/solidness of. I seriously cleared their shelf of their towel rings and toilet paper holders, but they didn't have the double bar so I whipped out my phone and went to Amazon to see if they had it (YAY!). While standing in the middle of BBB, I placed an order for 2 of these towel bars, as well as another towel ring since the store only had 3 in stock and I needed 4. The single bars are just as great as well, but we needed the double bars due to limited hanging space near the showers, plus the double bar was only a few dollars more than the single and I'd only have to buy 2 and not 4 thus saving a ton of money (ok, in reality the savings was just spent on a bunch of other stuff at Amazon since I came in under budget on the hardware). WARNING: these attach with little brackets, so they do take more time to install, but if you follow the directions they will be worth the extra time since they look amazing :)

We just remodeled our bathroom and bought these to replace our other towel bars. My contractor though I spend a fortune on then and was surprised when I told him the price. The price was better here than at the large hardware stores.

Love this! The colour matches the other gold items in the Gatco Elevate collection. Quality could be better, it doesn't weigh much. We use it for a single bath towel, or a hand towel.Our bathroom is small so we mounted it to the back of the bathroom door, which is hollow core. We used the screws that came with it, but used special Hollow Door Anchors and PL 3x glue. It's holding perfectly and hasn't moved! ☺️The last step is using the provided TINY Allen key, so be patient with this and get someone with small hands to tighten it. Once it's tight, it holds and doesn't move

IF I could give this a rating of 0, I WOULD. The product has a nice finish to it but installing it , is the biggest pain in the a$$. THEY will give you the tiniest alan key in the world, if you have masculine hands, don't eve try it, give it ti your 7 year old child or else you would wanna shoot yourself in the head for how small the tighning scew and alan key is. the anchor are super cheap, i installed mine with screws , i opened the wall and put wood backing and closed the wall back, it holds tight now

Overall very happy with the Gatco Elevate line! Got the matching toilet paper holder and towel ring. Looks great and seems to be pretty good quality. My one problem with them is the drywall anchors they include are absolute garbage. Decided to try them and they don’t hold at all. Came loose in the wall as soon as I pulled a towel off. Replaced with heavy duty screw in anchors and now it’s solid! Save yourself extra work and just toss them in the trash and use proper drywall anchors.

We bought this line of fixturesfor entire new home. They look great. However, within 2 years, the towel bar rusted. I hung a facecloth on the towel bar. The facecloth was not overly wet after being wrung out. Either make it out of plastic and coat the plastic, make the coating thicker, or make it out of stainless. I had to buy a replacement so as not to have one mismatched fixture and then a separate stand alone rack for a facecloth. Epic fail. I will be interested to see whether the manufacturer replies.
