After struggling to buy a suitable recessed light from the local DIY shop I found these. They were the right size, brightness and (more importantly) have the necessary ingress protection (IP). Cost wise these are good value comparitively speaking.They feel very substantial and well made. Fitting is easy. The lip on the front allows for a decent overlap meaning it's very forgiving if the recess hole is a little too big or not perfect.Best of all they look good and work well with a nice bright light without that cold, stark look.I have tried to get a photo of them working but it just shows glare. Trust me, they look better in real life.Happy with these.

I have twelve of these in my garage, and whilst I really like the look of the product and the quality of light that it produces, they seem to fail every 4 to 6 weeks.They'll work perfectly fine for a while, and then suddenly for no apparent reason, 3 or 4 of them will stop working.In less than 3 months, i've had to replace 16 of them!I've now replaced them with a different brand, and they seem to be much more resilient.It's a shame, as everything else about them is really nice!

look great installed and cover those massive old spot light holes! top tip I would say if you have a slight gap around it rather than trying to fill it just use a bit of decorators caulk which gives them a seamless finish esp on on old artex ceilings.

We were a bit worried, as the Amazon driver dropped these over a 2m gate, but they work fine, and give excellent brightness. I needed something quite wide to cover old ceiling light holes, and these are great, covering up to 12 cm diameter. The tails could be a little longer for wiring into junction connectors, but I used WAGO connectors with no issues.

Having my bathroom being completely renovated I decided to get rid of the old original fitted flush 30 year old lights that needed more and more bulb changes. The ease of fitting was great and the end product is superb making my bathroom now so bright. Very pleased.

Excellent quality of light and bright for their wattage. As they have a decent IP rating and sealed aluminium, they were perfect for my shed.

Ordered these lights to replace old down lights with 12v transformers. Easy to install. Bright lights; don't see to get heated up. Two of them are fitted in the bathroom and one of them is above the shower cubicle and has a little exposure to steams from the shower. Hope it is fine as the light is IP44 rated. Expect them to last long. So far good.

These look lovely and we're good value but can't review how they work as they are not getting fitted for another 2 weeks
