OuthwaitePadded Check Dog Coat, 14-inch, Lilac

Delighted with this jacket.....exactly what I wanted. Couldn't decide which size to get for our Cockapoo (cocker mum, miniature poodle dad) but went for the 18". Happy with it, although a little large on the straps. However, she's only 1, and possibly still growing/filling out. Ideally it could have a zip/slit to allow for a harness, but I knew it didn't have one when I bought it. Love it x

This is the second Outhwaite coat I've bought for my dog. I'm a fan. They are excellent coats and good value. The first thing they get right is, there is plenty of length on the middle velcro strap. It is generous enough to accommodate a rather portly Lady Parsons Russell comfortably (a too-short middle strap has been a common flaw with lesser brands, I have found).The workmanship is pretty robust, the coat is light but fairly tough. It has a good warm lining. And Outhwaites designs are pretty cool too compared to others.Last but not least, their coats are really good value for money.

I only buy outhwaite jackets got my dogs. Good value but lovely quality, waterproof and really warm. I absolutely love the tartan check on this one. The only bother is the Velcro getting clogged with fur but that will always happen. Seem to wash well too. Sizes always as expected and there's a bit of room if the dog is tubby. Can't recommend enough

Amazing coat. Velcro is very secure and well made, the fit is perfectly as described. It also has the elasticated straps at the back which slip over the back legs to keep the coat secure on the back. So many dog coats I have seen for double this price do not have these. It doesn't have a slit for a harness attachment, but my harness clip is close to the neck anyway so this can still be warn with the harness I use. Overall a fantastic coat that really does look the part and seems nice and warm

This is a great dog coat, fits well and is made to a high standard, waterproof, windproof.I returned mine because the colours were definitely female and my boy dog would have had a few comments!I ordered a brown one, which is excellent.

Great coat and a good fit. Would have liked leg elastic at back to have been a bit longer as think it could rub the soft skin on the inside of the leg at the top. Going to sew longer piece on. Very easy to put on.

Pretty good and suits our black dog. However, for our dog the coat needs more padding; freezing this Winter. We have a dog that though young and fit, really feels the cold and just like humans, dogs are not all the same.I have washed this Outhwaite coat many times and it's fine. As soon as the weather is a little warmer, our dog will be wearing this coat again.

Stunning colour combo good waterproof quality - just about fits - bought medium for very small female boxerBit flappy at the back and would have liked elastic for back legs - will sort this myselfNicely padded lovely secure Velcro fastenings . Pretty and immaculate stitching . Bit expensive though - £17-£20 would be fairer !
