I love using canvas bags for a variety of purposes (mainly hauling groceries from the store), but the handles always seem to wear out before the rest of the bag. I had one like that recently. I didn't want to throw it out; what a waste! My local dry cleaner's (which also does minor sewing/alterations) wasn't able to fix it because they couldn't find any material to use to replace the handle. I ordered this product online and brought it to my dry cleaner's, and they fixed me right up. The bag is as good as new!

I like the fact that it's heavy enough to use on a sewing tote. It is going to be big enough to carry lots of things. Has outside pockets all the way around. It is exactly what I wanted.

Easy to sew, but definately needs a jean/denim needle. Very sturdy.

This webbing is a miss. It is printed rainbow on one side and is white on the other, making it unusable for totes or projects where both sides will show. In addition, it is very synthetic and does not even approximate canvas. Finally, it is not the listed length.

USAF blue belt that was issued in 1969 was thicker and this makes a big difference on how a roller style military buckle grips the material. So it not what I was looking for but it seems to be a more modern material and it maybe as strong if not stronger than what was used 50+ years ago
