From Ned's wife: Strong rubber smell, which doesn't bother me because price--Nice and cheap. In order to un-kink them I lay them out with a brick on each end for about a week (it needn't have taken that long but I forgot to check them ).Once straightened, I put them in the flower beds and hook up the main hose as needed. This summer is so wet, they're sure to last another summer, too, since they're not getting much use.Originally had bought them to use on our straw bales but find I enjoy watering those by hand. It's a pleasant routine.

Works as advertised. Only thing to consider is if you are stringing multiple soakerpro hoses together you should replace the "restrictor" in the second hose with a regular hose washer or your first hose will leach significantly more water than the subsequent hoses. Also, I purchased these hoses for a vegetable garden and was surprised by how many hoses I needed by the time I wound and zigged and zagged all over my garden. I ended up needing 150 feet of soakerpro hose for my 20' X 18' vegetable garden! Otherwise these hoses are fantastic and fairly priced in my opinion! I hope this review helps you!

These soaker hoses are great. I put them around my trees and leave them there. I only need to attach the hose when I want to water them. I take them up in the winter so as to prevent freezing.

Great product. Wrapped around my willow tree that was suffering due to the drought this summer. Worked like a charm.

I chose this soaker hose primarily because of the price, but it works great, delivering an even flow the full length. And the connector is solid

Put this in my vegetable garden. Works great and my vegetables are automatically watered each day on a timer.
