I received mine today. It arrived quickly and packaged nicely.This accessory was bought to go with my Zhyiun Smooth 4 gimbal in order to attach lights and a microphone to it. It screws into the bottom of my gimbal easily and allows for multiple mount plates and/or stand to be screwed in underneath.I haven't yet bought any accessories for it but I can tell that both the metal arm and metal cold shoe (with 3 attachment slots) are strong enough to hold what I intend to attach (and buy) soon.More than happy to buy from this seller again. I bought this for my DJI Osmo 2. Works brilliantly as I can add it and the 1-4 20 thread on the bottom of the extension means I an still attach the mini tripod to the base of the gimbal. Would recommend it to anyone looking to add some additional attachment points to the their mobile folming rig.

I used the product to attach to my gimbal and add the external mic.

The media could not be loaded.  I am in love! Don't judge me lol I get very excited about my equipment! This fits onto my gimbal, SLR, tripod or whatever else uses that standard size thread. It's all metal, even the screws are! They have some rubber pads to allow you to tighten and not damage what it is going into. Ohh and better yet the screws actually have threads inside of them. Check my vid! I can screw this into my gimbal AND then screw in my stand underneath... oh I just realised I could actually add more of these.It's a really fantastic product, I love it for my kit!

This review is limited to the ULANZI PT-3 Triple Shoe Mount when fitted to a Zhiyun Smooth 4 Smart Phone Stabilizer/Gimbal. No attempt has been made to comment on its suitability or otherwise with traditional cameras or other makes of Gimbal.The PT3 has three cold shoes (i.e. no electrical connections). These three shoes are in the form of a block with one horizontal and two vertical shoe positions. This type of device is often known as an 'L' mount.The first thing that struck me when unpacking the ULANZI PT-3 was how small it is (See photo showing 20p for scale). To me it appears well made, functional and neat. It has a feel of quality, not only in the general design but also in the detail. The accurately ‘cut to fit’ serrated rubber pads enabled the item to be securely fitted to the stabiliser without any need for excessive tightening. There is no tendency for the bar to move or bend probably due to its short length (105 mm) and its thickness (3.5 mm). Despite this strength the total weight is less than 70 grammes ensuring it does not adversely affect the weight of my gimbal, an important consideration for something I often hold with just one hand - however having the ULANZI PT-3 attached to the Smooth 4, even without a microphone or LED light fitted makes two handed operation a breeze.The bar is designed with top and bottom 1/4 inch threaded knobs so that it can be fitted with or without a tripod as required. The bar and the block can each be rotated 360 degrees giving total flexibility in the positioning of my accessories. I was initially concerned that the small size of the ULANZI PT-3 might limit its use but that fear turned out to be unfounded. As well as the full range of horizontal rotary movement there is also a 10 mm extension adjustment when securing the bar to the Tripod or Gimbal. The clearance from the centre of the horizontal shoe to the edge of my Smooth 4 was 62 mm. Because of the ability to position the bar at the front or the side, problems would only arise if the size of any centre mounted accessory exceeded 124 mm in both width and depth. For vlogging or selphies the bar can be moved to the back so that it faces the user. Height of accessories gives no problem unless using the PT-3 on the left hand side of the Smooth 4 where the gimbal focussing/exposure wheel reduces the available space by by 23mm. This is not a problem for me and is unlikely to be for most users.The ULANZI PT-3 Triple Shoe Mount is an ideal accessory for my ZHIYUN Smooth 4. Although I have not tried it with any other gimbal I cannot forsee any problems. Its uniqueness is its compact size. It can be easily broken down into 2 or 4 pieces for packing in the tightest of spaces at the edge of my equipment case. Very happy with the PT-3
