Michael Morgan RI Address Book

I ordered this late the other evening, expecting it to arrive Christmas Eve as it said. Instead it came the next morning! The book is even more attractive than anticipated, with a really generous number of mostly full-page pictures that both calm and move me to look at. I wasn't aware of Michael Morgan as an artist until looking for an address book online - so glad to discover this. The paper quality is good too.The pages for addresses are very open - just a lot of lines, no special slots for name/address/phone number - so this could be a pro or a con, depending on what you prefer. It's fine for me.

There are 42 colour plates in this book, each one 23 x 21 cms (8.5 x 9 inches) approx. In my view this alone makes the book well worth the money if you like Michael Morgan's art work and don't want detailed descriptions. As I'm fairly new to Mr Morgan's work, I don't know if these pictures show complete paintings but each plate is printed on a single page, mostly back to back, so there are no breaks in continuity. I've never understood printers' obsession with splitting large pictures along the centre fold, especially when they could be printed landscape on a single page!However, for me, this book is an absolute delight to browse through and be inspired by. Well done Halswood Stationers - this is a gem.And thank you Amazon for prompt delivery (2 days after ordering) and strong packaging.

A great way to buy a book of MM's paintings at a reasonable cost.

I am delighted with this address book, not least because of the beautiful paintings created by this wonderful artist. The quality of the address book is fantastic - definitely a must for anyone interested in art, and addresses of course!

I love Michael Morgan's art work. This book will not be used as an address book as I like the illustrations too much . I have his other book which also has stunning, highly original paintings. This book has smaller scaled pictures that I think I like better than the larger paintings as they are less complex but still easily recognisable as his work.

As expected

This is such a good representation of Michaels work that I have decided to not use it as an address book but to use it for special memories Address books soon become messy and it would be a crime to mess this one up !!! Worth every penny.,

This is so beautiful, I can see me looking up an address and losing myself in just admiring the pictures! It is a bit large to keep on my bookcase but I don't mind at all.
