This is my 2nd purchase of ThiEye Dash Cam. The first one was working very well until we were hit from behind and hit the car in front of us! The dashcam flew off the window from the impact but otherwise was unharmed except I wasn't able to retrieve the part that connects the dashcam to the window from the wreckage. We downloaded the video and it was useful in showing the chain of events of the accident. This one is going into our new replacement vehicle. Highly recommend. I set the video to loop at 5 minutes. Was easy to download when needed. The cord is long enough to go up under the windshield lining and down along the footwells. Very unobtrusive. The extra port is handy although it is only a 1.5 amp, would prefer a fast charge 2 amp+. Great purchase and will purchase again if needed.

Just short of power cable on my Santa Fe. Had to take a short cut under the glove. Another foot woulda reached perfectly. Works great. Love the size and the video is great. Need glasses to see the buttons. 4.5 stars. Adding another to the rear window as the Santa Fe has a 12 volt car charger in the way back that also goes on when the engine is started. Perfect.

Bought this to replace an older model that had very poor picture quality.. these really have come along way! Nice and compact , is exactly what I was looking for , to be discreet.. stunning picture quality, very easy to use.. and easy set up. Extreme value!

You would think I would give less than 3 stars from my review though I am giving this company the benefit of the doubt that maybe I received a bad camera....???? I am returning it.1. (sd slot) First I noticed when inserting the sd card..there was no end to how far you can push it in. the first time it inserted so far in I could not get it out without using a sharp pocket knife and carefully prying it out. (there was no definite end point like most devices have and feel) There was no normal as usual "push and card should eject out a bit so you can grab it with your finger tips. not the case here.2. Display brightness daytime... useless! Barely exist. Night time just as bad.3.1080P Resolution... more like 720p from what I can tell during the day. Night resolution is like 320p

I work in field service so I drive all around the north east and occasionally the south east. In my travels as it were, I see enough craziness on the road to start my own clip show. People never believe me when I post about the stuff I see on the road. But now, now I record everything and this camera has such a wide lenses it sees everything! The mounts to the glass work perfectly, the camera comes down easy and the micro USB cable allows me to transfer the data to my computer where I can chop it up and add commentary. Any day now I will have a viral worthy video thanks to this camera. Aside from that, I if I ever get in an accident I will have evidence! Had I known I could get such a high quality camera for so cheep I would have bought one long ago. Excellent all around product.

Won’t hold a charge, thought it might be my car but when I borrowed a friends higher end device to test if the problem was my car or the device. His worked perfect. It worked great for about a month. It won’t keep the charge by keeping it plugged into the car. Tried charging it in the house and it didn’t even last an hour.

Despite some bad reviews, I wanted to give it a chance. I bought (2) mine and wife's. The quality is really good. It comes with the 32GB card (Max capacity allowed). Overall, its good, and good price. Starts up when the turn on the car and when turn it off, the cam keeps recording for some minutes. Also has the collisions recording while parking. So, if you get hit but a random car while away, it will record. I'm happy with the Purchase.

Suction cup is powerful. The camera is simple in settings but compact.Cord is long enougn to use in crossover.
