This thing rocks for $300
I ordered this rack because it was the only one that I found that offered all of the grip angle options for pull-ups / chin-ups, or just hanging. The welds and threads all seemed decent for such an inexpensive rack. I did notice a very light dusting of rust on a few of the pieces, so I decided to paint parts of it to better match my DeWalt racks located in the room shared with the rack. Not having any diagonals, it does wobble a little bit when doing pull-ups, but I am 240lbs and the wobble is negligible. Also, I thought that I was going to need something under it to keep it from scratching my flooring, so I bought felt furniture pads (3"x2") from Lowe's and stuck them to the four feet. Those felt pads, combined with the slip-on plastic feet on the ends, prevent the rack from touching the flooring, which is a nice thing. The nuts are thread-lockers, so no Loctite is needed and the thing went together really easily. I'd recommend not fully tightening all of the nuts until the very end of your build and know that the hardest part is installing the initial uprights onto the two bases. Place each base pad on a piece of wood to elevate each base an inch or two off of the ground, which will give you space to tighten the bolts / nuts more easily. The pull-up / chin-up bars are rough-textured, so plan on using gloves, wrist wrap bar hangers, and/or rubber bar wrapping to make it more comfortable. Also know that there is a smarter way to grab the bar(s), using the crease between your fingers and palm first, then grab bar. Otherwise you crush / pinch the calluses on the palm immediately adjacent to the fingers, which can be very uncomfortable. The Marine pull-up record holder on YouTube explains it best.I am very satisfied with my purchase and I highly recommend it. Don't be afraid to spray paint yours. I used two coats of Rustoleum 2X Ultra-Cover primer and paint in one can.I hope this helps someone and stay safe, especially if lifting alone.

Good value, Sturdy, Great Service
Had a missing part, received great service and was FedExed the part quickly. Sturdy, but will need to be bolted to floor to prevent tipping with existing hardware.

Solid rack
This is a solid rack, I am surprised with each post being in 2 parts. Good price but I was missing a washer and both pins to lock the safety bars. There were also a number places where it was worn down to bare metal, see pictures attached. There were also a few places which already had rust. The grip part of bars, knurling, is harsh on hands, hoping it wears down. I'm keeping the rack outside, so assuming rust will continue to be a problem. Both hooks fit well and are secure. The plastic/rubber covering on hooks works well. The safety bar being in 2 parts, inner and outer is nice and should work well. I wish the rack was a tad higher but it works. I have not tried other attachments. Overall, I would recommend. The 4 stars is due to 3 missing parts and the marks on it from arrival.. my final pic of rusting is after 1 night outside. It rained for about 4 hours. EDIT:1 year later outside and covered, the bars have somewhat discolored and bolts are all covered in rust but the unit itself seems to be fine at the moment.

Very sturdy rack; a lot less room than my old bench press equipment.
The media could not be loaded. I’m 5’10” and weigh 225 lbs and I’d say it’s pretty sturdy. Everything is bolt on an pretty easy to figure out. I used some WD-40 on the bolts just so I wouldn’t strip any; seems like there are no extra bolts or washers so take your time! Took 2 hours and a great playlist to assemble 😎

Great rack for the price
It does exactly what I'm asking it to. Easy to install and doesn't shake while I'm doing pullups. I weigh 290lbs and it handles my weight with ease.

Love it!
Perfect cage for home gym. Sturdy and customer service was fantastic when I had questions.Note that some of the negative reviews and pictures clearly show the assembly is not correct. This is sturdy and easy to assemble. Also note, it ships in 2 boxes and they may not arrive on the same day.

BE ADVISED - arrives in two separate boxes
BEWARE - this will arrive in two separate boxes. My first box arrived without the other box, so I thought I got ripped off. Emailed customer service, they replied same day and explained the two boxes. It will take you some time to assemble, have a vice grip and ratchet set handy. You may or may not need two people to build this, and it will take at least a couple hours. It’s all together now and super solid. NOTE: this is advertised as the pull-up bar being 89” tall but it’s actually 87”.
