USA PanLeak-Proof Nonstick Commercial Springform Pan, 9-Inch

I'm so happy I was finally able to make my mother's cheesecake recipe with this pan. It's pretty solid. Although the preparation process calls for lining the bottom and adjoining areas of the pan with dough for the crust, it still did its job by not warping or leaking and letting any of the cheesecake filling out to drip into the oven. And washing it is a breeze. Simply slide the fasteners up and off to disassemble the pieces for easy cleaning. Slide them back together and it's back to cook-ready status. I highly recommend this pan. It took a while...it's personal for me... I finally found a good pan for mom's cheesecake. She would have been proud. Thank you USA Pan.

I like to make cheesecake, which needs to cook in a water bath. I was able to cook the cheesecake without wrapping the whole thing in aluminum foil. This make things so much easier.

Mom was ill, we went to stay and be there for her over several weeks. Beng with her these last few weeks of her passing Ohio. My husband MJ. Is a hobby baker, our grandchildren call him Poppa. He was asked to make a Cheese cake for our family there. He used my brother in law's Cheese cake pan. The presentation was so beautiful it was a hit! They were deep dish. He was so impressed with that pan himself, we tried to buy one there. The store had went out of business a few months earlier year. We looked everywhere for that type of pan. When we got back to Oklahoma we found it on Amazon. His very wonderful cheese cakes are so beautiful and now deep dish. I, to was also impressed. Bought 2 for him. They open with 2 clips. So much easier for him. He is so happy. He made 8 different cheese cakes before we left in the weeks we were there. Mom went to sleep. Our hope is very strong. We miss her so much. He can make one for Mom in Paradise.

This springform pan may be different than what most of us are used to but it does not disappoint. I’ve used it four times since it arrived and it has delivered reliable results. Despite decent care, our old one was prone to leaking and rusting after a few years. This new one from USA Pan has a silicone gasket and no leaks so far when making a cheesecake. I’ve used for other cakes as well and it releases well. It feels well made, not flimsy at all.

This pan is a wonderful! I love that the silicone gaskets make it fully leak proof and the beautiful USA pan coating that they are known for makes it totally nonstick. It’s a solid pan with good weight — light enough to handle easily but heavy enough that your cake doesn’t scorch before it’s fully cooked. The slightly larger bottom means it’s easy to put in and out of the oven as well as to serve your cake on after removing the sides. And the sides are super easy to remove — just slide the 2 black slides straight up and the sidewall splits into 2 pieces leaving your cake in beautiful condition. It’s so much easier than the typical flip lock that most springform pans have! I absolutely love this pan!!

From someone who cooks cheesecakes a lot…I have used USA Pans before and have always been very pleased with them. This pan leaves much to be desired. There just too many pieces to this pan. The seal around the base became loose after one use, the silicone seals on the sides of the pan are finicky, as I was pressing my cheesecake crust into the sides of the pan, the pan just fell apart. Returning this item. I expect better from USA Pan.

The first one I ordered arrived incredibly bent, and the protective plastic opened. I was sent a replacement that arrived quickly. The second one wasn't deformed but the plastic covering was broken open. However it is water proof and made a really good cheesecake!

My wife makes a pumpkin cheesecake every year for Thanksgiving instead of pumpkin pie. That means we keep a springform pan around to use once a year. Unfortunately, the one we had didn't do a great job of keeping the water bath out of the pie, so my wife had to keep coming up with ever more elaborate ways of folding waxed paper and other substances to get the cheesecake out of the water bath safely.So this year she saw this springform on a baking show and decided to grab one. And it did a great job of keeping the water out! Even for one use a year, it's absolutely worth the extra cost. I just wish it weren't so darn fiddly.Putting it together almost requires 2 people. There's a gasket around the raised base that you need to keep from rolling while you fit the sides on. Then there are silicone seals between the parts of the sides that need to be squeezed to slide the latches over. I found out that these seals have a small strip that needs to go into little slots on the sides, and that it's way too easy to goof up and slide them over the part that doesn't have the slot, so now one of those strips is nearly severed. I don't think that will matter for anything other than keeping it in place, but if it does cause a leak, I hope I can just order another seal instead of a whole new pan.BUT. The key takeaway here is that this pan does what it says. That's amazing by itself these days, and worth every penny.

After having problems with leaky cake pans (baking cheesecake in a water bath), I looked for a solution. This was the only pan I found where reviewers didn't say it leaked. I'll add my review to the list. It works as advertised.

The best springform pan I have ever used, incredible quality, and 100% Leakproof, no need to wrap Aluminum Foil around it.
