The binoculars and phone app work well together. Only draw back is looking through the eye piece you have to have good I placement or the image through the binoculars can go black. But overall a nice way to line up the star and know what your looking at with help of the app.

The clip to hold the iPhone is a GREAT idea. The binoculars were poor. Maybe could be used by youngsters just starting to do Nature study but not adequate for serious use. PLEASE figure out how to make a similar iPhone holder clip for real binoculars and you'll have a winner!

Nope. Very Cheap. Your basically destroying the environment making stuff like this and the only thing worth having is the mount for the smartphone.

I returned them both and would not recommend purchasing.
Very poorly manufactured, eye pieces are a thin plastic And flex to much causing out of focus condition. This pair replaced a pair I received broken. I returned them both and would not recommend purchasing.

If you enjoy migraines, these are the binoculars for you!
Purchased as a Christmas gift for my father (an astronomy buff)... The binoculars offer substandard light collection due to the cheap lenses and prisms, and the use of flimsy plastic components allow for flex between the eyepieces, resulting in extremely poor collimation (RESULT: CAUSES HORRENDOUS EYESTRAIN!) Buyer beware.

Not The Best
Not the best quality the binoculars failed within a few uses and the app can be downloaded from Google play store etc. The only thing that makes this different is the phone holder.
