Well, there's still a lot to learn about this club, but I used it for my first two shots on a 340 yard par 4 where I was just short of pin high on the right side of the green... what anyone says it's always the player not the club but this was an easy start and not at all difficult to hit off the fairway as well as the tee, I suspect you'll want to tee up considerably lower than w/a typical driver.

I have been using the 14.5 degree for 4yrs and I love this club... I hit it 230-240 every time... love this club! I also just got the 18.5 and hit that about 190... just as great! Highly recommended club! Ordering a new one since the last one is pretty beaten up!

At the time I ordered this, I was having difficulty with hitting my driver. I was not getting proper distance and my shots were offline. This was advertised as a club that could potentially replace both the driver and the 3 wood and that sounded attractive to me, although I tend to hit my 3 wood really well. However, by the time I received the Vixa V12, I had corrected my issues with the driver and found I didn't really need this club. But I decided to take it to the range and test it out and I found this to be a really well-made club that performed well. If I had continued to struggle to hit my driver AND if I was not happy with my current 3 wood then I would have kept this club for sure. The distance was nowhere near as long as my driver if I hit both clubs equally solid but it was long enough and it was certainly easy to keep it in the fairway. It wasn't even quite as long as my Callaway 3 wood (which is a "strong" 3) but the club was super easy to hit and it was reliably accurate. It just so happens that I don't have the need for the club that I thought I would but I would highly recommend this club to anyone struggling to hit their driver. If you are curious how this compares to the GX-7 (which I've also tried in the past) I would take this club as it is more versatile. It has about the same distance off the tee as the GX-7 but it's more accurate and far easier to hit off the fairway than the GX-7 is. Hope this is helpful.

I expected it to replace the driver and the 3 wood as they advertised . It does not in my opinion

As a Ladies, 3W club I was not impressed. I can get more distance with my old 3 wood Callaway Solaire. After I bought this club, I purchased a Taylormade m4 3Wood. I am delighted with it. The Vixa gives the distance of a 5 wood, although it has beautiful high launches. I can't get the distant as 3 wood. The 18.5 loft may have something to do with it. I was disappointed but I am keeping it in my bag and using it as 5W, unless I can sell it.

I am 56 and generally not a long driver. If I hit my driver great it may go 230. The VIXA V12 is my go to club. I can hit it anywhere from 160 to 190. It hits well off of the fairways, I have shaved an average of 5 strokes per round since purchasing. I usually shoot around 90, but since August I have averaged 85, I did shoot an 82 which for me is amazing. I wish they would make one with about 13 degrees loft.

Took this thing straight to the range and hit a basket of balls. No bull@#$%, i was hitting it straight down broadway 180 to 200 yards. Then took it out for a round of golf and loved the way it played out of any grass. Landed green on 2nd shot on a couple of greens and close enough for easy up and downs on others. Ended up with 8 pars. It is officially my 2nd shot go to club.. i am extremely happy with purchase.

Not what I thought it would be. Ended up giving it to my brother. He's not having very good luck with it either! It's definitely not worth the money they charge for it!

liked that it was easy to hit and straight. saved me 4-6 strokes per round.

It’s not really doing what it said it would do

Performs well as a driver however, requires a relatively flat fairway to be consistent. Well suited for well-groomed fairways. Would be a great club for Florida.

Basically it was not a good fit for my golf game. My 5 wood performs much better including distancing. It might work for another golfer but not for me and golf clubs are like that.

Even improved my game!!Arrived quickly without issue..unlike so many other orders today.
