Laser is awesome but the wrong lens came in it, had to buy my own lens for it.

Absolutely amazing!! I was skeptical at first after seeing the reviews however I purchased it anyway. Attached it to my laser and started using it. Works exactly as described I am 100% happy with my purchase and would buy from them again!!

To put a real perspective on this I had been extra busy at work and so the machine had been used very little when the laser module failed. As you might guess I had decided to upgrade from the 7 watt module so this package which included the 3 amp power unit seemed like a good idea.I am changing this review because the seller has been very helpful, a replacement has been received and the defective unit returned at no cost. Full marks to the seller and Amazon for that. Unfortunately, it is now Dec 25th and the replacement has failed in exactly the same way the original unit did so this time I feel I have no choice but to give this a definite waste of time, effort and money review.There is clearly a problem with the design of the 20 Watt head and this unit has only been used on wood or cardboard and only below 50% power. Once again the 7 Watt head that originally came with the machine works just fine now I have reinstalled it. I don't fault the vendor or Amazon, both of whom were very helpful, but I will not be requesting a replacement this time around because I feel the situation is hopeless. The machine does sense laser temperature which never got above about 35C which leads me to wonder if the laser diode fails due to the PWM switching speed.

First off this is 20watt input not output.My present 7 Watt module has twice the power.The price for a4 watt module which this is is about 1/4.

!!! INCREDIBLY DECEIVING!! !!!NOT 20W ----- 3W ACTUAL OUTPUT POWER!!Measured with a legitimate laser power meter at only 3.1W!!!!! Not even the 5.5w optical power mentioned.Do not buy this at this price. It is NOT a 20W laser diode. This info was NOT available on the listing at the time this was purchased. This is way overpriced for a 3W diode module. 3W modules are available at far far less cost.The 20 watts is the electrical INPUT POWER , not laser output power.

Most everyone will think this is a 20 watt Diode Laser. As far as I know the highest optical power available to the consumer market is 17 watts. There is a question / answer and the 'specs' that state it's ONLY 5.5 watts of optical power.Don't be deceived.
