Disappointed for the first time with my Sperry Boots
This is my fifth pair of Sperry duck boots. They are usually great, but these left me with a lot of little gripes. They are supposed to be shiny but there’s patches of matte areas. And stuff tends to stick to the shiny areas. I love my boots so I actually wipe them down every time a take them off with a dry lint free cloth if they’re not muddy. But with these nothing wipes off, which is unusual. I’ve only worn them twice and they are already full of little nicks all the way around, which is unusual. I’m not sure what went wrong, but I definitely wish I could return them because I don’t expect these issues from my Sperrys. Other than that, they are still warm and comfortable to ware, plus the olive color is very nice. Personally, I always size a half size down (normally I am a 7.5 so I get a 7 but I wear thin socks) if your wondering.

Not as expected...
Absolutely love sperry duck boots. They are super comfortable and last a long time. These olive green and black however are 2nd rate at best. I am waiting on my 3rd pair from Amazon as both pair I have ordered have come damaged. Damages range from scratches or pits in the rubber to all of them having frayed edges with the lining sticking out, holes, and missewn quilting not even lining up with the top of the shoe. These are expensive boots and Sperry is generally a quality product. Very disappointed Sperry produced such a poor quality product and Amazon didn't catch it and send it back to the manufacturer before selling it to consumers. This is the second company I have tried purchasing this exact boot from and they have been damaged from both. I was told maybe Sperry produced a bad batch in the olive size 6 1/2 from the previous store because upon checking, every pair in their stock room was also damaged. Buyer beware.

AMAZING
I wanted sperry duck boots for the longest time but they were just too expensive. I tried some other cheaper brands and ended up returning all of them and biting the bullet and getting these with my Christmas money. They are soooo worth it!! I specifically got them for a northern California trip when it was supposed to rain all week. They arrived the day before I left and I made sure they fit and took then with me. right out of the box I wore them for 8+ hours walking around the city and doing tours. I wore them every day all day for about a week including a 6-mile hike. They are probably the comfiest shoes I own now. The fleece lining is really nice when it's chilly but not too much that you couldn't wear them on a little bit of a warmer day. I'd They fit true to size, I am between an 8-81/2 depending on the shoe and I got them in an 8, I was able to wear them with a little bit thicker sock and they still fit fine after my feet swelled up and I couldn't wear my hiking boots (the reason I wore them hiking) and the no lace tying and zipper made them super quick to get on and off which was really nice at the airport. 10/10 definitely recommend these!

Yep, you need them.
Wow. If you also have feet that are cold to the touch, let me tell you—you need these boots. My feet stayed warm and dry. Even in regular socks. Required zero warm-up wear around the house to break them in.I did some long-distance walking, and I did notice the ball of my foot starting to feel tired. But you could easily put an insole down there for extra cushioning.Super comfy. Super warm. Super cute. Just get them!

Warm & stylish boot
Fantastic boot. Pairs well with almost any outfit! Keeps your feet dry and very warm even if worn with a regular thickness sock. Thick sock (like cabin socks even) work fine, too. I will get another pair!I went and tried on a different Sperry boot similar to this one before buying - I normally wear a 7 in shoes and bought this boot in a size 6 based on trying on in store and it fit. 6.5 would have been okay, too - especially if I was only ever wearing thicker socks with the boot.

Run large, order half size down
These boots are really cute. and they are ALMOST comfortable. I wear a size 10 normally, but I tried the nylon chevron style in a 10. Definitely too big. I do not like to wear thick socks with boots, so these have to fit with normal socks. Also, I walk 4 miles every day: rain, snow, or shine, so they have to be puddle worthy and comfortable. So I ordered the 9.5 in the leather. Love the look, but way too stiff in the upper - I have bigger calves/ankles and there was zero give, so ugh, I exchanged for the 9.5 in the nylon chevron. Much better fit in the upper and the foot both, but there was a bump in the back of the heel on one boot, where the seam of rubber meets the nylon upper. This was super uncomfortable and I couldn't get over it. So those went back as well. I feel like I just got a bad pair, so I'll keep trying other styles to see what finally works. Quality control definitely lacking on these, but maybe you can get the right pair on the first try.

Returns will cost you
I would have given 5 stars for these shoes but 1 star for return policy. Shoes are hard to buy online because they all run different and of course you can’t try on before purchasing. These arrived.....and they were great quality and perfect...except they were too big. I needed to return them with hopes of exchanging for a smaller size. It amazed me to discover there was a $6 restocking and shipping fee. I will not buy the smaller size. What if it’s not the right fit and I have to exchange again, there goes another $6. During this Pandemic I would expect a better return policy and was dissatisfied with what seems to be a petty penalty. Too bad, I loved the shoes!

Stitching is bad, way off
Just got the boots I was so excited to try them on. They look exactly as advertised, very warm, and true to size. I usually wear a womens size 7, that's what I ordered and they fit fine... upon further inspection I found that they already had a scuff on them above one of the heels. Also the stitch work is WAY OFF! The zig zag lines are over 2 inch off in some places..(not picky by any means....but this is totally NOTICEABLE) not only that on the front where the rubber meets the fabric..same thing one shoe looks good the other one stitching is so off it almost looks glued on.. not sure how long these will last so I will be returning them.. for the price I paid for them it's just not worth it to have these issues. Disappointed

The sizing table doesn't necessarily correspond to your real shoe size
The comments and publicity said the boot runs large, and to order on size smaller. I wear a size 6- 1/2 shoe, so I still only ordered1/2 size smaller: a size 6. This was definitely too small, the length of the sole barely reached the end of my toes, leaving no room for movement. could not even get my foot into the boot, even when unlacing the whole boot.

Love these boots
I’m a size 9 and went with the nine so I can wear thick socks.I’d say they run half a size big.
