Arrived on time. Perfect size for my windows. Like the idea of batteries, hate seeing the cord hanging down!

They look great in my old house

I have been looking for quite a while for good battery-operated candles for some windows. I am very happy I found these because the light is stronger than in most other similar candles and there is a choice of steady or flickering, if you care about that. They are light and even with the additional weight of the batteries I taped them to the window sill. It goes on automatically at dusk and off after eight hours or, as I did, it can be be turned on and off manually.

I like the candles very much, however I had big problems with the order. First order arrived with only 2 of the 4 candles working. Placed a replacement order and this time 3 of the 4 worked, so by combining the orders, I have (at least so far) 4 working candles! I still have to make a 60 mile round trip journey to return them, since I could not print a shipping label and no local shipping place can use a scan code. I would love to order more of these, since they, are exactly what I wanted, but not willing to chance it again. UPDATE; I wanted so much to like these candles, but continued to have problems. Sensors did not all work correctly (two candles side by side would light at different times, etc.) So sadly, I ended up just ordering a different brand, with timers but no sensors. They work fine, but I really liked the original ones! Hope that my experience was just a fluke.

We gave up our plug in lights for new battery powered lights. The lights are easy to operate and set up was easy. The batteries have held up through out the season. The packaging is good and will serve as storage after the season.

I have been waiting to buy candles like this for years because I could never find what I wanted. my sister had bought some and I liked them so much I bought 2 sets myself. I actually thought they were metal when I looked at hers in person until I picked them up. They look nice and compared to others I thought they were a good value. I like the feature that they light up as soon as it gets dark. The only downside is they can kick on to early on our very gray days here up north.

These look great from street view and the battery life is amazing! My first package of four were Put in the windows on November 18th. I was so pleased I ordered another three boxes. Today is March 24th and I just put away the first box of four because the batteries had finally worn down after 18 weeks! The timer feature is great. Yes on a couple of really gloomy days they came on, but certainly didn’t seem to effect battery life.

They were well packaged. They are tall. I was surprised they needed 3 double A batteries but they last forever!!!
