Byler's Relish House Dilly Beans 16oz (pack of 2)

I ordered two jars of Dilley Beans. They arrived in a timely manner. One jars seal had broken, fortunately the padded bag it was in contained the fluid, but I lost the jar of beans. I sent info to manufacture, but to date have not heard back from them or received replacement Beans.

I love dilly beans, but I've never had any that had sugar added to it. I don't love the sugary taste it's rather jarring when unexpected and takes away from the dill flavor. If you like sweet pickled things this is for you but if you like dilled, salty, tart pickled things don't bother with these. They're crisp, crunchy, and squeak against your teeth so they're a good quality pickled bean.

They’re not bad by any means, but they’re light years behind any homemade dilly beans, not just grandmas either. They just don’t have a lot of flavor.

WE USUALLY MAKE OUR OWN DILLY BEANS. DRY AND SPICY, BUT NOT TOO SPICY. THESE WERE FIRM AND CRISP, BUT SLIGHTLY SWEET AND BLAND. WON'T BUY AGAIN

I loved the crisp texture and the dill and slightly sweet taste. They are a a great addition to a gin martini instead of an olive. I truly love these.

Bitter, not really a vinegar taste. It almost tastes like powdered Alum or something like that.
