I've had my Raythor rangefinder for six months. It has worked perfectly. I don't know what the battery life is because I charge it every 5th or 6th round. I've never received a low battery indicator. Yardages are repeatable and consistent. The most important aspect of using this rangefinder is that it provides the distance to the nearest object crossed by the crosshairs during a reading. This will almost always be the flagstick. But if you are looking under tree branches or viewing the very top of flag visible over a hill, you might get distances that reflect the distance to the branch or hill. Know how to use the tool! Once you know how to use it properly, you won't get wildly erratic results that aren't easily explained by the presence of objects between you and the flag stick....or you're missing the flag and hitting objects behind the green. Super tool for distance to other objects like traps, trees and water. Point and shoot and you can figure your carry distance to the other side of the lake, or how far you can carry that dogleg before you run out of fairway. Far more reliable than a GPS, but to be useful, you must have line of sight to the target.

I’ve had this range finder for a while and wouldn’t always get the same range but would usually be within 1-2yards each time I scanned standing at the same spot. After playing with some friends over the weekend every read I was getting was about 10-15yards shorter of what they both would get. I’m a 9 handicap so can’t say that the 10ish yards makes a huge difference but when playing with 1-2 handicaps and they definitely know that wasn’t the correct yardage isn’t a good feeling.

As far as the range finder goes it is ok, just ok..Bought the Raythor for my wife as a birthday gift in mid January 2021. Worked fine for several rounds. Around March 26,2021 we we playing and all of a sudden the unit froze on 125.5 yards. I use a GPS watch and we were about 95 yards from the green. No matter what we did, in the instant, the unit remained stuck. Got home read the manual and the issue of being stuck is/was not addresses. Got on line and wrote customer service. To this day customer service has not responded in writing or by phone. On April 2,2021 we were going to play golf, I got the unit and turned it on. Well, the unit was/is working and has been working with no problem(s). This “miracle” of self correct is nice. What is NOT nice is the aBJECT lack of customer service from RAYTHOR. BASED ON THAT ALONE I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT TO PURCHASE.

My club has GPS in the carts but sometimes I walk or need an intermediate measurement so I purchased this unit. So far it seem it work just fine. It may not have all the bells and whistles of more expensive models but I'm not going to the Tour.. I just need a basic reliable range finder that was easy to use and this one fits that need.

I was really happy with this rangefinder but when the battery ran low it became inaccurate, so keep it charged. If you turn off the slope then it will not lock on to the nearest object, making it hard to get an accurate reading without the slope turned on. If you are using this in a tournament it will be difficult with the slope off. Because of the problems I had they sent me a new one that seems to be doing better. They say they are coming out with a new model that addresses my issue with he slope. I think this a a very good value for the money.

My playing partners use a Bushnell and Leopold so I got to test it against popular range finders and it was exactly the same readings. This one has the slope feature which is really nice and was able to give them corrected distance. It is pretty light and a little hard to lock on target but not really being use to it will get better with use and was better by the end of the round. My partners were pretty impressed especially since this is about 1/2 the price of theirs with same accuracy. Right now I'm really impressed and will continue to be if no problems arise It's a excellent product for the price.

My Raythor Rangefinder is PERFECT. It is easy to use and works every time. The charge on it lasts and lasts. I recharge every week, but I bet it can be recharged every other week. It has not lost its charge. It is really easy to point, press the actuator button and WOW there is the yardage. It even corrects for elevation and gives you a great feel for what will be needed for the next shot. My scores have been lowered because I now the CORRECT distance.
