Moon PieThe Original Marshmallow Sandwich Salted Caramel, 24.75 Ounce

Never had a Moon Pie before yet I love Caramel...what better way to try these. They weren't covered/coated in icing, just some on the top. Are they supposed to be dipped in coating? I don't know. It was soft, a bit of slight chewiness on the filling (like marshmallow) and a bit crumbly from the cake-like layers. I first noticed a hint of...banana? Didn't really taste caramely enough for me, but then I didn't know what a regular one tasted like. We had Scooter Pies in California as I was growing up; now I know that Moon Pies are not the same thing. Not a good combination for a sweet treat, too artificial tasting. I wouldn't buy these again. I'll ask others that try the rest of these and see what they think.

These pies were enjoyable, while not my favorite flavor. They do taste like Salted Caramel, tho a bit stale-tasting. I am enjoying them, however I won't be ordering more right away.
