The only thing good about this thing is its price. I guess you get what you pay for but... Basically the main problem is it leaks in almost every conceivable way. The soap tank has clear plastic view ports on both sides of the wand, both ports leak. Also the tank has a rubber stopper that covers the filler hole and guess what, It leaks. Another problem is a full tank of soap and water mixture half and half empty's so fast that you hardly have enough time to finish the dog wash. The only thing that works is the sprayer. I guess I'll use it to water my plants. When I got the Petjet I threw away the packaging because I said to myself that it was so cheap that if it did not work it would not be worth the effort of sending it back. Bottom line, DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY, even if it's only a little money.

My Australian shepherd is often way too smart for her (and our) good. Plus, she loathes water. Keeping her clean has been an ongoing struggle, as we like to avoid the sharp parts of our dog whenever possible. The PetJet worked really well. I was able to find a setting that applied enough water pressure without scaring our dog. She actually just stood there calmly and let me wash her--a first! If your dog is as skittish as ours is around water, I recommend trying out the PetJet first so you can find the right settings and figure out the controls, which are actually very simple.

Rarely does a product actually make life easier. This one does. Bathed my 140lb filthy squirming dog in 10 min. It sprays the shampoo and water at the same time by pushing two triggers in the handle. Release the soap trigger and just water comes out for rinsing. Keep in mind that this is plastic and it's not a fire hose. Don't turn your hose up all the way. You don't need to. You can leave the shampoo in the reservoir but of you only bath your pet 3 or 4 times a year I suggest you empty it out between uses. That my opinion and not reflected in the manufacturers instructions.

Squirt a little flea/tick oatmeal shampoo into the reservoir then fill it with water and you are ready to wash a dog. I discovered that I did not use near as much shampoo in this manner. Three spray settings to choose from and the spray does not come out with too much force. This item did not come with the adapter to attach it to a sink faucet and the included instructions need to be updated to reflect that. You are limited to using it with a garden hose unless you can come up with a faucet adapter and hose but for the price you simply cannot expect much more.

My sheppard mix is a big 80 lb baby when it comes to getting a bath. In the summer, I love hooking this up to the hose outside. I attach it, turn on the water, let the water warm up about 15 minutes in the sunlight. Then it's bath time. He does much better in the wide open area than a small bath tub. It's important to read the direction though - I fill the soap dispenser with about 1/3 soap and the rest water so it never clogs. It works like a charm for me and he seems much happier with bath time.

I have bought 2 of these with the required special shampoo and both clogged and will not dispense shampoo after first use. YES, I flushed it out before storing, and NO there is no way to take it apart to fix. Great sprayer but no shampoo dispenser defeats the purpose. This product is crap.

I wish there was a way to make water warmer, but that is really the only issue with this washer. My terrified dog got washed very quickly and didn't completely mind once we got it started (except for the cold water!). Very excited to have found an easy way to wash the dog. The soap being able to be put right in there is super as well!
