10 Masterpieces You Have to Read Before You Die 1

There is no table of content to access; therefore, you must read the books in consecutive order. It is very frustrating especially if you previously read some of the books. However, here's an easy suggestion to get around this obstacle:1. Amazon's website will note: "This book contains the following works arranged alphabetically by authors last names" click on "read more"2. Copy and paste this list somewhere convenient such as on your Kindle, iPad, reading device or simply print it out.3. Within the book search the last name of the author on your device, voila the book appears.In addition to the TOC missing, some of the books chapter numbers are also missing. I would probably give the book 4 stars; however, I can forgive these glitches since the contents are so enjoyable and the book is free.

A very fine collection of classics and a great buy for the money. Some of the classics that I have not read are included here and that is why I purchased. Since the scope of all these books is too broad to go into, they presentation and index seem complete and easy to use. I like Kindle anthologies and collections. So portable, so readable, so inexpensive for the quality and quantity of the works you receive.

This is a fabulous opportunity to find, or review, the classics - Jane Austin, Balzac, etc. I deducted one star for the failure to include an index. The reader never knows what book is next. But I am making my way through the books and keeping a list so I least I will know what is there. If a new Kindle had a way to "go back" to a particular page, or go forward to a particular book, I would buy it in a flash, no matter the cost.

Fun book!! Some of the 50 I have already read, but currently reading Anna Karinena. I am kind of on a mission to read all the classics that I can. When they are on the Kindle, it is so easy, and these collections of 50 treat masterpieces, put them at your fingertips.I love this kind of a format in music so-called "greatest hits", and I love it with books as well.

I don't want to read every book in this collection. I have already read about half of the books. But there are so many that you can read almost an entire book and still remain on the same percentage of the total. That makes it hard to check your progress. The print is excellent and the pages turn just as they do in any other Kindle book, but sometimes I have trouble opening the book. It will just go right back to the starting point. I also have had trouble getting back to where I left off. It's as if the memory went out and I had to start all over again. Luckily I knew where I had left off in a general way and was able to find it.One helpful feature is the index at the beginning with hyperlinks to each book. This allows you to skip right to that work without having to scroll through all the others before it. But once you are there you will have to scroll through to find the last page you read if the system fails to recall that for you.

50 classics for $0.49??!! Irresistible. Although I prefer real hardcovers, I like the Kindle too. It's like another full bookshelf. The older I get, the more I appreciate classics. Even though I've read probably half of these, I don't own them - till now. The updated index is much easier to use than some other large Kindle collections.

I was just filled with joy when I got this library of books, all in one fell swoop. I call it a library because that's exactly what it is considering there's 50 masterpieces presented all at once. I just hope and pray that I live long enough to read everyone of them. This was the nicest gift I've ever received. Once I pick up the book or I should say look at it on the Internet. I just can't get away from it. Thank you again and again for all these wonderful masterpieces.

There are lots of problems with the scanning, but for the price (!) this is a fantastic deal. It is an opportunity to skim or re-read books that once were part of my life (and a few I missed). Can't go wrong--there is little help in navigating, searching, etc. but what do you want for practically nothing. It is an entire library on your Kindle!

Ofcourse I haven’t read all off them so I can’t comment on the accuracy of the content but 50 books at such a low price Whats not to like ?
