This stick vac is the absolute best. I highly recommend. Have bought three for my daughters and myself. Works really well. Stores easily and super easy to quickly do a great job for our dog hair. We have Bassett Hounds and boy the hair. Works great

I had a vacuum like this for many, many years, but, it finally conked out. I searched high and low for another, exact model. This was it and it is a vacuum for every home and every vacuuming job. It is light-weight and easy to use. It is the perfect vacuum.

I really love this machine but the bad part of it is , the wheels are cheap made all is cheap made of plastic and i paid over a hundred dollars for cheap plastic, but the machine is amazing and works as good as a big one !!! i use this one in bathrooms, bedrooms kitchens, places with no carpet. You have an amazing piece of work here but have to keep ordering parts for it as the cheap plastic breaks, please come up with a little better part!!!

My heavy old Rainbow vacuum was getting tiresome to lug around so I decided to get a stick vac for quick clean ups, vacuuming furniture, etc. I previously had a Hoover Lynx lithium ion stick vacuum that I really liked but the battery would die halfway through a cleaning, so I decided to go with a corded stick vac this time. I decided on the Merlin because of all the reviews mentioning how great the suction is. Well, the suction is great, I can't complain there. It is also very lightweight and easy to use. The issue I found is that the motor housing gets very hot after about 10 minutes of use. I realize this isn't a full size vacuum meant to clean an entire house at once but 10 minutes? And I'm not talking warm, I mean HOT.After looking around online I saw several other people mention this and the concensus was basically don't use it for more than 10-15 minutes at a time. For the price (compared to similar stick vacuums) I think this is ridiculous. I still like the overall cleaning performance but the next stick vacuum I purchase will not be from this brand.

I am in my 70’s and three years ago still found myself searching for the “perfect vacuum” for everyday use. I found it when I purchased my little BergHoff all-in-one! I initially intended to use it for little jobs around my cottages. I have two other vacuums but my BergHoff soon became my favorite “go to” vacuum for almost every job. Today, three years later this BergHoff all-in-one is still the vacuum I choose first. It truly is light weight and so easy to maneuver. I can vacuum my entire cottage in no time. It is so light I have no trouble carrying it back and forth to my other cottages. My back doesn’t ache since I don’t have to lug a canister behind. The long handle that attaches easily makes it an upright vac. I only have to empty it once after …and it is so easy to empty! Since it is a basic plug in, the power is always at its peak! The extra long cord allows me to vacuum a large area before I have to replug it to another outlet. I don’t know it’s amps or hp or airflow speed but I do know the power is amazing! I’ve used a lot of vacuums throughout the years and its pickup power compares only to the power of the Miele lightweight canister that I purchased for my daughter a few years back. Last but not least, the BergHoff customer service team is amazing!I used my vac so much that a part wore out. BergHoff customer service was patient, kind and responsive. They backed up their product completely and the situation was resolved. Thank you, BergHoff! Comparing vacuums on line is impossible! It’s like there is a “vacuum conspiracy” (LOL!) going on to prevent us from making the best decision. How can you compare when power and efficiency are measured in so many different ways. It’s like comparing oranges to apples. So I’m basing this review on my knowledge alone and my experience in a lifetime search for the perfect vacuum!

This is our second one because after 10+ years the first was having an electrical cord issue and we felt it time to get another. Variety of uses. Light and easy to operate

Update to my previous review. Berghoff made my issue right. They have phenomenal customer service. This is a great light weight vacuum. Picks up great. I bought my first one as a promotion at Sam's several years ago and it was great. I had to have another!
