5.11 Tactical Men's Covert Select Shirt, Short Sleeve, Style 7119

I bought a medium. I always wear a medium. This was massive. Easily a large or bigger. Its way too big for me.

The quality is exceptional as is the design and definitely utility. Just a little perplexed by the fabric and it's crinkle. Yes crinkle and not wrinkle.

I'd give this shirt a 4.5Pros:1. This shirt is COMFORTABLE. This is the most comfortable shirt I have ever worn in my life.2. Nice length for conceal carry or tall people. (Easily conceals a large hunting handgun)3. I've been washing in the washer (not dry cleaning) and it looks/feels fine.4. concealment pocket on the chest is invisibleCons:1. If you want to come across as unarmed, this is not the shirt for you. The material looks cool, but up close it looks rough and tactical … cool but not covert. This shirt (in black at least) will not pass up for an innocent business-casual option for work. If you want to look like a bad target while walking your dog, this is a good shirt.2. This is a good shirt but I feel it is slightly overpriced.3. The buttons are a bit too hard to press/undo for a tactical situationI've noticed the sizes vary with 5.11. If you sometimes fit 3XL and sometimes fir 2XL you will want to go with the 2XL.Bottom Line: If you want a comfortable shirt that's a bit rough looking and you don't mind looking a bit tactical, then this is a good shirt for you. If not sure what size to get, get the smaller size.

Fits as advertised. Drape and length along with the fabric pattern are great for concealment wherever you carry your weapon. VERY comfortable! Loved the first one so much I bought three more.

Shirt appears to be of good quality, as what I have come to expect from 5.11. Colour I ordered is that of burnt orange/terracotta.I'm only rating this 3 stars because of its quality. Not sure how I missed this prior to ordering but anything that is Dry Clean Only is a no-no for me. Yes there are advantages to DCO attire, so if yer hitting the dirt &/or running n' gunning, this will remain clean and looking its best for quite a while. However the disadvantages are cost & time when Dry Cleaning...The second star came off due to it's fit. Always the risk when ordering clothing off the interwebs. This is a Covert break-away style shirt with snapped front (faux buttons, minus the stitched vertical slits btw, so it actually looks a little hokey), so the cut is long, a little longer than I expected for an XL which is my typical sizing for these types of shirts with no issues. However at 5'9" & a muscular 200lbs with wide shoulders, I had to double check if the sizing was completely wrong or a Tall and the shirt was simply miss-tagged. Nope, "5.11 Tactical Series XL Covert Shirt Select, #458 Terracotta" with the message inside stating "Designed with a longer cut for concealed carry"..That ain't no joke, standing at attention, the shirt hangs below the point if my fingers were outstretched. Approximately 4" below the tip of a full size 1911 5" Operator hung in a low OWB holster in the vertical position to be exact. So for me, it could do with 1 less button and hemmed 2 inches up.

I like these shirts because they are very comfortable. But the shirt I ordered did not match the picture. They do fit big, I normally wear large but with these shirts I order the medium and they fit perfect.

After looking at, and thinking about these 5.11 shirts for a long time, I finally decided to spring for one and try it. I'm glad I did! The 5.11 Covert shirt is extremely comfortable and breathes very well. It also serves its intended purpose of assisting in concealment perfectly - especially if you get the plaid or print.There are inside pockets on each breast, made of mesh and held shut with Velcro. Not suitable for concealing a weapon, but good for tucking away other small flat items. I haven't used them yet, but they seem to be practical enough. The sides are relieved with high slits that are held with Velcro also. These can provide easy access to a hidden sidearm. Last but not least, are the snaps - yes, snaps not buttons. There are no buttons on this shirt, except at the very top (the one you would likely leave open) - but the snap tops look exactly like buttons, right down to the false threads in the button holes. The shirt can be pulled open easily and one handed to access your concealed firearm quickly.These shirts are not cheap - which is why I waited so long to try one. But they are of the highest quality and very practical. The sizes seem to run true - my medium is a good medium by my standards. I highly recommend these shirts and will be buying more. I hope they will expand the options of colors and patterns over time.

I bought this simply because it was on sale for $12. I am a solid medium in shirts and occasionally large but this shirt is huge. Dryer helped me out a little so now I just look slightly odd wearing an excessively baggy shirt instead of drawing attention completely. I’m 5’6 180 athletic build and could probably have gotten a small and still had sufficient concealment.

Excelente camisa, alta calidad en sus materiales y costuras, muy cómoda y fresca y sus bolsillos escondidos sirven muy bien para guardar papeles o libretas no muy grandes.La recomiendo ampliamente, lo que si es muy importante es que si eres talla L pide una talla M, porque son muy holgadas

Soy de altura en 1.73 mts. Y peso 83 kg normalmente pido tallas medianas pero esta camisa en mediano me quedo larga por lo que tuve que mandarla a la costurera para levantar la bastilla.
