Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  So what can I say about this drone. Quite a bit actually. I will try to not write a book about it... It's not going to be easy, because there are a lot of great things that this drone has in it. First off it is a Foldable Drone. So you don't have to lug around a big drone, and this drone has capabilities of a large drone. It is for beginners. Though if you're a seasoned pilot you'll enjoy this too. It takes great pictures and video. Which allows you to store on a SD Card, and is capable of using up to 128 GB SD Card. There's a place for the SD card on the Drone. You can also record video through your cellphone, and pictures too.So this drone enables you to set the flight distance for Beginners Mode. This way you'll still have a drone, because it didn't fly off on you. It will allow you to get the hang of flying. It's a great feature. It also has an, "Electronic Fence," and this will keep the Drone in a safe zone. It has One-Key take off, and landing. Then the RTH (Return to Home). So if you get nervous, or whatever, you just tap the RTH on the controller or App and it will come back to the point of where it took off from. Another thing is with auto take off it will hover. As long as you have the GPS set up, it will hover. Once you get the hang of flying. You can speed the drone up, it has three speeds on the control. Also the drone is equipped with Headless Mode. It eliminates the need for focusing on drone’s orientation and enables a much easier Line of Sight flying experience. So it does not matter which way the drone forward direction is pointing. When you push forward, the drone moves forward relative to your direction, not the heading of the drone. The same thing for going to the left or right.  It is a fantastic Drone for Beginners, hands down, perfect.Both drone and Controller are rechargeable. The remote I believe has a ten hour charge. And the battery lasts 16 minutes.It comes with a 2.7K Angle-Adjustable Camera The 2.7K ultra HD camera captures photos and videos, that are very impressive. Here's a nice feature, you can actually adjust the camera angle through the controller.Setting up the Drone to fly is simple and quick. It's has Smart GPS and RTH (Return to Home). It will remember it's take off point and return if there are any issues you would just hit your RTH on the remote or on the App, that is on the screen of your cellphone. The drone will return to it's original take off point if the battery gets to low. I tested that out and got to see how well that worked and I was very impressed. Another thing I like is you are able to see real time data, on distance, speed, and the flight height.The WiFi FPV (First Person View) is 5G (5GHz) Streaming. This allows real time image transmission with no latency. As indicated even when the drone is 1000 feet away. Something else is it has audio record. It's through the app. So if you let's say wanted to narrate your flight etc. You could do just that.Here are the features of this drone:Follow Me Mode. There are two kinds of Follow Me Modes. One is the regular Follow Me, and the other is, "Mark and Track." The Mark and Track allows you to draw a square around the Person or maybe your Dog, And then the Drone will follow whatever you marked. And if it's your Dog, be careful, because if your dog gets scared and starts running, your Drone is going to chase your dog, and that could scar your dog for life. *smiles* Seriously though, be careful, your dog could get hurt, as well as your drone, and someone else, or something else.Next is Waypoints: Waypoints allows you to define an exact flying route. In a map during flight. You can have a lot of fun setting your flying route as you film and take pictures. You can use the Hand gestures to start filming and to stop filming. Same with taking pictures.So as I was saying about taking video and pictures. There are several ways to take video/pictures. By using the controller, by using the App, or by using hand gestures. The hand gestures you use are the Peace Sign/V sign with your fingers, to start and stop taking pictures. You'll have to pay a lot higher price for a drone that can. This drone does have a higher speed though that once you're use to flying you'll be able to fly in winds of 5-9 mph, any higher you're pushing it. Though I did fly in 10 mph winds and it did alright. If you're not experienced, I recommend not flying in wind over 7 mph.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  This drone got a great 2.7K camera. And for the price, I think this is the best GPS drone I can found on Amazon. Although I am not a good pilot yet, it fights the wind pretty well. The Follow Me and Waypoints work great too. And it can return home on itself when the battery is low. Well build and easy to operate. SNAPTAIN made this a great drone. Remember to shut off the beginner mode when you use the APP, or the drone will hit the geo-fence and keep bounce back while you are trying to flying it farther. I had an issue with it and thought the drone was defective, but later I figured out it's because of the defaulted beginner mode.

This past Father's Day (2020), I received my 1st Snaptain S5C Drone. The choice was perfect, being 71 years old, the drone has a great size to it, camera is decent, and easy to learn. I have a great field to fly it in, so being a beginner I had no problems.Now I moved up to the Snaptain SP510, got it for $149.00 on Amazon ( had a $30.00 coupon) in August 2020 , loaded with the same features as the S5C + a few more! The best feature for me is the movable camera that you can adjust from the remote, up and down! The SP510 'Return to Home' will bring it back with in inches from where it took off from, thanks to the GPS on it! The battery life has been as advertised, about 18 minutes, but it came with only 1 battery. Many of this company's other drones come with 2 batteries. The flight distance is incredible, just wish the meters could be changed to feet in the phone app, but that's why we have calculators.Customer support has been great for answering a few questions I had! Hats Off to Jon, Wendy and Sophia!There are many Drone Company's, but after all my research for a drone costing less then $200.00, I think I made a Great choice with SNAPTAIN!!

This is the second drone I owned. The first one is a much cheaper toy, with limited features. This one looks really nice, including the packaging, the parts, and the manuals. It’s not a high end product, but much better than the cheap toys. I don’t like read manuals, so I found a video on YouTube with a similar mode sp500. After watch the video we did some quick test on the GPS, return home, and follow me mode. There functions worked very well. It didn’t return to the exact point where it flied off, but it is good enough. Definitely we need more time to check all the functions, but so far so good. And by the way, the video resolution is pretty high.

SNAPTAIN SP510This is my first drone that i've owned or operated. i'm pretty good at learning how to operate new gadgets so this was not too hard for me to learn. It took me about 4-5 sessions with this drone in order to master it but if you've played a lot of video games growing up, you may learn it faster. It has some nice features such as the ability to rotate the camera from level to looking straight down. the LED lights on the end of the arms are very useful in determining what direction the drone is facing. When you remove your finger from the controls, it stops and hovers, perhaps this is just how they all work in GPS mode but it can 'save your bacon'.When landing, it hits the home spot pretty well, depending on how strong your GPS signal is. I landed in some Barberry shrubs a couple times at the beginning and the props stopped but didn't break.Note: there is an extra set of props in the box so you don't have to order more when you buy it.It's really pretty quiet too. It's very light so it has to work to fight a breeze over 6-7 mph but does a good job.3 flying speeds and the fast one is quite fast.Overall, I'm very pleased with it! Recommended!
